Today I decided to wear something in one of the prettiest colors: lavender! 💜 I don't know why, but there's something about this shade that makes me feel comfortable, feminine, and a little more cheerful.
I really like this sweater because it's simple, but the knitted details make it look so cute. I paired it with my little cross necklace, left my hair loose, and went with my usual soft pink lipstick. Nothing too complicated, just the kind of outfit I enjoy wearing on a regular day.
And of course, I had to take a selfie! 🤭📸
I was actually looking at the pictures on my phone and realized how often I wear pink, red, or blue. So it feels nice to have a little lavender in the mix. Maybe I should start experimenting with more colors!
Something funny about me is that I can spend several minutes deciding what to wear, only to end up choosing the most comfortable thing in my closet. 😂 Does that happen to anyone else?
I've also been thinking about how important it is to enjoy the small moments in our daily routines. Sometimes we're so focused on everything we need to accomplish that we forget to appreciate what's happening right now.
There are days when I feel like I have a thousand things on my mind. Work, responsibilities, plans for the future, and all those little worries that seem to appear out of nowhere. But I try not to let them take away my ability to enjoy the simple things.
Today, for example, I liked my outfit, my hair looked nice without much effort, and I had a few minutes to take a picture. That's enough to make me smile. 💕
I'm not someone who has everything figured out. I'm still learning, making mistakes, changing my mind about things, and discovering what I really want for my future.
And that's okay. I think growing up is a lot about accepting that we don't need to have all the answers immediately.
Anyway, I didn't mean to turn a simple selfie into such a long conversation! 😂 But that's what I love about sharing little pieces of my life here. Sometimes a picture comes with a story, and sometimes it just gives me an excuse to chat with you.
