Change of Strategy! Road to 10k Staked ZING
To date, my strategy on #holozing has focused on injecting liquidity into the liquidity pool ZING-HIVE which, thanks to a very high APR and the stable values of the ZING and HIVE tokens, has allowed me to accumulate quite a bit of rewards, bringing me many more ZING than I would have gotten if I had limited myself to just staking.
After all these months, however, the APR of the liquidity pool finally dropped, as part of the rewards that were being distributed to the liquidity providers came to an end.
At the time of writing, this is the APR offered by the pool:
It is still a very interesting value, but at the same time far from what it was until a few weeks ago.
That is why I decided a few days ago to change my strategy.
Staking!
Although I leave my position in the liquidity pool unchanged, as it continues to give me a good amount of extra ZING every day, I have decided to cease unstaking and instead put in staking every ZING I get.
The APR is lower this way, but I reduce my exposure to any sudden change in the HIVE and ZING values, thus limiting the potential harm from any impermanent loss.
Diversification is in fact the new keyword in my strategy: taking a few risks so far has paid off, but I don't want to risk too much and lose what I have done to date.
Goal 10k Staked ZING
Changing my strategy, however, does not change my goals on this project: to get as many ZING as possible and to be able to buy all the core assets of the game - and maybe a little bit more.
My main goal at the moment is to reach 10,000 staked ZING, which is still a long way off: considering all the ZING I have - in staking, unstaking and in the pool - I'm at around 5,800, which is a good result but still a long way from where I'd like to be.
It doesn't help me that the rewards I get every day are decreasing, as can be seen in the graph available on the official website:
The end of the airdrop to POSH holders has in fact decreased the ZING I get, although I hope to make up for this loss with the purchase of Genesis Starter Packs, which will also guarantee the airdrop of ZING tokens.
The idea is to keep taking advantage of all possible ways to accumulate ZING, which currently include:

maintaining liquidity in the ZING-HIVE pool
In short, I hope over time to be able to build a solid foundation that will allow me to get off on the right foot in this game.

Cambio di Strategia! Obiettivo 10k ZING in Staking
Sino ad oggi la mia strategia su #holozing si è concentrata sull'immettere liquidità nella pool di liquidità ZING-HIVE che, grazie ad un APR molto elevato ed ai valori stabili dei token ZING ed HIVE, mi ha consentito di accumulare un bel po' di ricompense, portandomi ad ottenere molti più ZING di quelli che avrei ottenuto se mi fossi limitato al solo staking.
Dopo tutti questi mesi, però, l'APR della pool di liquidità è infine calato, dato che parte delle ricompense che venivano distribuite ai liquidity providers sono terminati.
Nel momento in cui scrivo, questo è l'APR offerto dalla pool:
Si tratta di un valore ancora molto interessante, ma al contempo lontano da quello che era sino a poche settimane fa.
Per questo da qualche giorno ho deciso di modificare la mia strategia.
Staking!
Pur lasciando invariata la mia posizione nella pool di liquidità, che continua a darmi un buon quantitativo extra di ZING ogni giorno, ho deciso per il resto di cessare la procedura di unstaking e di mettere, viceversa, in staking ogni ZING che ottengo.
L'APR è più basso in questo modo, ma riduco così la mia esposizione ed eventuali variazioni improvvise dei valori di HIVE e ZING, limitando i danni derivanti da una eventuale impermanent loss.
Diversificare è infatti la nuova parola d'ordine della mia strategia: prendersi qualche rischio sino ad ora ha dato i suoi frutti, ma non voglio rischiare troppo ed andare a perdere quanto di buono fatto sin qui.
Obiettivo 10k ZING in Staking
Il variare della mia strategia non muta però i miei obiettivi su questo progetto: ottenere più ZING possibile e riuscire a comprare tutti gli assets essenziali del gioco - e magari anche qualcosina in più!
Il mio principale obiettivo in questo momento è raggiungere 10.000 ZING in staking e la strada si preannuncia ancora lunga: considerando infatti tutti gli ZING che possiedo - in staking, unstaking e nella pool - arrivo a quota 5.800 circa, che sono un buon risultato ma ancora lontano da dove vorrei arrivare.
Non mi aiuta il fatto che le ricompense che ottengo ogni giorno siano in diminuzione, come visibile nel grafico disponibile sul sito ufficiale:
La fine dell'airdrop in favore dei detentori del token POSH ha infatti fatto diminuire gli ZING che ottengo, anche se spero di compensare tale perdita con l'acquisto dei Genesis Starter Packs, i quali garantiranno anch'essi l'airdrop di token ZING.
L'idea è quella di continuare a sfruttare tutte le modalità possibili per accumulare ZING, che attualmente prevedono:
- delegare HP all'account @zingtoken
- mettere in staking i miei ZING
- mantenere della liquidità nella pool ZING-HIVE
Insomma, spero nel tempo di riuscire a costruire una solida base che mi consenta di partire con il piede giusto all'interno di questo gioco.
