My Account Playing in... the Diamond League!?
Just about ten days ago the Splinterlands team released a major update that changed some aspects of the ranked match system.
If you want to know in detail what these changes are, I'll leave you the link to a post by @libertycrypto27, where you will find everything explained.

As far as I'm interested here, the aspect I'd like to focus on is the removal of the limit that was previously set to the Summoners that could be used according to the League you were playing in: unless you were in the Diamond or Champion Leagues, in fact, it was not possible to deploy maximum level Summoners and, because of this, even creatures could not reach their full potential.
As soon as I heard about the introduction of this new feature, part of me rejoiced, because removing any limitation on the use of a Summoner means that if I wanted to go back and play in the Modern format I would have a very good chance of getting right back into the Silver League, easily overtaking the Bronze League - which I wish I never had to set foot in again! 😂
At the same time, however, I was concerned that this change might make life much more difficult for my account in the Wild format, where I currently play thanks to the use of a bot.
My collection in fact has 8 maxxed Summoners for the Silver League, but only 1 higher level Summoner.
This allowed me to play in the Gold League of the Wild format with good results, especially after the first few days of the Season, which are always among the toughest and most competitive.
I thought, however, that once the new system went into effect, the difficulties for me would only increase, since I expected to be up against players with Summoners of a much higher level than mine...
... but it happened all THE CONTRARY!
Not only have my results not gotten any worse, but my account has even managed to climb all the way up to the DAMOND LEAGUE!
This is an outstanding achievement for me, to say the least, and absolutely without precedent for my collection, which I never, ever imagined capable of reaching such a milestone.
The Diamond League represents (almost) the pinnacle of Splinterlands and grants access to very generous rewards, beginning with the ability to find a huge number of Soulbound cards in the same chest.
Admittedly, in a few days the chests will be replaced by Glint, a new ingame currency with which it will be possible to buy rewards from a brand new shop, but in the meantime the satisfaction I feel is huge and gives meaning to all the efforts I have made to upgrade my collection more and more.
With the next evolution of the game things may change again, and it is not certain that I will be able to continue to achieve these results... however what is certain is that I will continue to invest in the game and try to do what I can not only to stay at this level, but to go even further!

Personally, I think it will be a nice update and will help me complete the upgrade of some Soulbound cards that I still haven't been able to get to the level I wanted.
I will only be able to find out in the coming weeks if this will be the case; in the meantime, I am happy to enjoy some Diamond League chests :)

Il Mio Account sta Giocando... nella Lega Diamante!?
Giusto una decina di giorni fa il team di Splinterlands ha rilasciato un importante aggiornamento che ha modificato alcune aspetti del sistema di partite classificate.

Per quanto interessa a me oggi, l'aspetto su cui vorrei soffermarmi è la rimozione del limite che prima era imposto agli Evocatori utilizzabili a seconda della Lega in cui si giocava: a meno di non trovarsi nelle Leghe Diamante o Campione, infatti, non era possibile schierare Evocatori di livello massimo e, per questo, anche le creature non potevano esprimere il loro pieno potenziale.
Appena ho saputo dell'introduzione di questa novità una parte di me ha esultato, perchè rimuovere ogni limite all'utilizzo di un Evocatore significa che se volessi tornare a giocare nel formato Modern avrei ottime possibilità di arrivare a giocare subito in Lega Argento, sorpassando con facilità la Lega Bronzo - nella quale vorrei non dover mai più mettere piede! 😂
Al contempo, però, temevo che questa modifica potesse rendere la vita molto più difficile al mio account nel formato Wild, dove attualmente gioco grazie all'utilizzo di un bot.
La mia collezione infatti dispone di 8 Evocatori maxxati per la Lega Argento, ma di 1 solo Evocatore di livello superiore.
Ciò mi ha consentito di giocare comunque nella Lega Oro del formato Wild con buoni risultati, soprattutto passati i primi giorni della Stagione, che sono sempre fra i più duri e competitivi.
Pensavo però che, una volta entrato in vigore il nuovo sistema, le difficoltà per me non avrebbero fatto altro che aumentare, dato che immaginavo di trovarmi contro giocatori con Evocatori di livello molto più alto dei miei...
... ma è successo tutto IL CONTRARIO!
Non solo i miei risultati non sono peggiorati, ma addirittura il mio account è riuscito a salire fino alla LEGA DIAMANTE!
Si tratta di un risultato a dir poco eccezionale per me e assolutamente senza precedenti per la mia collezione, che mai e poi mai avrei immaginato capace di raggiungere un simile traguardo.
La Lega Diamante rappresenta (quasi) il vertice di Splinterlands e garantisce l'accesso a premi molto abbondanti, a cominciare dalla possibilità di trovare un numero enorme di carte Soulbound nella stessa chest.
E' vero, fra pochi giorni le chests saranno sostituite dal Glint, una nuova valuta ingame con cui sarà possibile acquistare ricompense da un nuovissimo shop, ma intanto la soddisfazione che provo è enorme e dà un senso a tutti gli sforzi che ho fatto per potenziare sempre più la mia collezione.
Con la prossima evoluzione del gioco le cose potrebbero cambiare ancora, e non è detto che mi riesca di continuare a raggiungere questi risultati, però quel che è certo è che continuerò ad investire nel gioco e cercare di fare il possibile non solo per restare a questo livello, ma per andare anche oltre!

Personalmente credo che sarà un bell'aggiornamento e che mi aiuterà a completare il potenziamento di alcune carte Soulbound che ancora non sono riuscito a portare al livello che volevo.
Solo nelle prossime settimane sarò in grado di scoprire se sarà così; intanto mi accontento di godermi un po' di chests della Lega Diamante :)
