Earning Over 1k DEC per Season

It has been a while since I have decided to focus solely on the investment aspect of Splinterlands, leaving aside the gaming one.

This means that I finally have some data at my disposal that I can evaluate to see how my efforts are paying off.

Those who read my posts - few but brave! - already know that my strategy consists of two parts:

• renting out my cards;

• renting out my SPS.

Admittedly a simple strategy, I can't deny it 😅 but the idea is to put all my assets to good use and avoid leaving cards or tokens sitting there for nothing.

To do this I leverage:

• Splex.gg to automatically rent my cards, paying a 10% fee on my earnings;

• Xbot.app to rent my SPS in a more profitable market than the official one, paying a 5% fee.

With just these two tools, all my assets generate a steady income that can be qualified as practically passive, as my involvement is minimal.

If I then analyse cards and SPS independently, it is easy to see that the former are my main source of income:

Earnings from cards

In the last 14 days, which roughly corresponds to the duration of a Season on Splinterlands, minus the Rental Golem's commission, the earnings associated with the rental of my cards amount to 840 DEC.

Most of this sum comes from Immortalis and Possibilus the Wise, which are constantly being rented out at extremely high rates.

Earnings from SPS

The earnings from SPS rentals are also not bad, crossing the DEC 200 mark in a similar period.

For those wondering, the negative transactions to sl-rentals represent the withdrawals I periodically make to pay Rental Golem commissions.

DEC Total

Adding up these two incomes, the total that I have earned in the last 14 days exceeds 1,000 DEC which, at current value, corresponds to a little less than 0.80 USD.

This DEC has to be added to the amount I have set aside, which right now, thanks to the cards I have sold and this steady income, amounts to over 71,000 DEC.

A pretty good amount of money and one that is set to increase even more.

If I evaluate my earnings on a monthly and annual basis, these amount to about 2000 DEC per month and 24000 DEC per year.

Again, these are pretty good numbers, especially considering that I will soon be adding more cards to my collection, which may further increase my income.

In fact, I'll admit that one thing I'd like to do - dreaming is free - is to use the DEC I generate to rent cards and SPS for cheap, so that I can then give my account - or rather my secondary account @wolf-lord - to a Scholar and share the earnings.

If in fact I rent my cards and SPS properly, I might be able to afford to borrow stronger cards and more SPS in return, thus building up a collection capable of competing at least in the Gold League, if not beyond.

The SPS earned in these Leagues are a lot and could make the deal interesting for both parties.

For now it's just an idea, whose actual feasibility I haven't even assessed, but on Splinterlands I'm used to constantly changing my plans, so who knows, maybe in the future this idea might become a reality :)

Più di 1k DEC Guadagnati a Stagione

Comincia ad essere passato un po' di tempo da quando ho deciso di concentrarmi unicamente sull'aspetto dell'investimento su Splinterlands, lasciando da parte quello ludico.

Ciò significa che finalmente ho un po' di dati a disposizione da poter valutare, così da poter capire quali frutti stanno producendo i miei sforzi.

Chi legge i miei post - pochi ma valorosi! - sa che la mia strategia si compone di due parti:

• noleggio delle carte;
• noleggio degli SPS.

Decisamente una strategia semplice, non posso negarle 😅 ma l'idea è, banalmente, quella di far fruttare tutti i miei assets, evitando di lasciare carte o token lì a non fare niente.

Per farlo sfrutto:

• Splex.gg per noleggiare automaticamente le mie carte, pagando una fee del 10% sui miei guadagni;
• Xbot.app per noleggiare i miei SPS in un market più redditizio di quello ufficiale, pagando una fee del 5%.

Con questi due soli strumenti tutti i miei assets generano costantemente una rendita che si può definire praticamente passiva, dato che il mio intervento è davvero minimo.

Andando poi ad analizzare separatamente carte e SPS, è facile vedere che le prime sono la mia fonte principale di guadagno:

Guadagni derivanti dalle carte

Negli ultimi 14 giorni, che più o meno coincidono con la durata di una Stagione su Splinterlands, detratta la commissione del Rental Golem, i guadagni collegati al noleggio delle mie carte ammontano a 840 DEC.

Il grosso di questa somma è merito di Immortalis e Possibilus the Wise, che vengono costantemente noleggiate a cifre estremamente alte.

Guadagni derivanti dagli SPS

Anche i guadagni provenienti dal noleggio degli SPS non sono male, superando i 200 DEC in un periodo più o meno analogo.

Per chi se lo stesse chiedendo, le transazioni negative in favore di sl-rentals corrispondono ai prelievi che periodicamente faccio per pagare le commissioni del Rental Golem.

DEC Totale

Andando a sommare queste due introiti, il totale che ho guadagnato in questi ultimi 14 giorni supera i 1000 DEC che, al valore attuale, corrispondono a poco meno di 0,80 USD.

Questo DEC va aggiungersi a quello che ho da parte, che in questo momento, grazie alle carte che ho venduto ed a questa rendita costante in entrata, ammonta ad oltre 71.000 DEC

Una cifra niente male e che è destinata ad aumentare sempre più.

Se valuto poi su base mensile ed annuale i miei guadagni, questi ammontano a circa 2000 DEC al mese e 24000 DEC all'anno.

Anche queste sono cifre niente male, soprattutto considerato che, a breve, potrò aggiungere altre carte alla mia collezione, magari riuscendo così ad incrementare ancora di più i miei introiti.

Ammetto infatti che una cosa che mi piacerebbe poter fare - tanto sognare è gratis - è quella di utilizzare il DEC che genero per prendere a noleggio carte ed SPS a buon mercato, così da poter poi affidare il mio account - o meglio il mio account secondario @wolf-lord - ad uno Scholar e dividere poi i guadagni così ottenuti.

Se infatti noleggio bene le mie carte ed i miei SPS, potrei permettermi di prendere in cambio carte più forti e più SPS, così da creare una collezione capace di competere almeno nella Lega Oro, se non oltre.

Gli SPS guadagnati in questi Leghe sono tanti e potrebbero rendere l'operazione interessante per entrambe le parti.

Per ora si tratta solo di una idea, di cui non ho nemmeno valutato in concreto la reale fattibilità, però su Splinterlands sono abituato a modificare costantemente i miei piani, per cui chissà che in futuro questa idea non possa diventare realtà :)
