The other day I opened the app of my mobile service provider to pay my bill for the month. I was surprised to see that they have already added Cryptocurrency as a payment option.
Ohh-la-la! So cool! As someone who's been into crypto for quite some time, it is great to see crypto use-cases in our everyday lives.
Driven by curiosity, I of course explored the cryptocurrency payment option.
What currencies will be accepted?
What's the process?
How easy would it be?
As far as my service provider is concerned, there are options to pay BTC, ETH, PYUSD, USDC, and USDT.
I tapped USDT and was prompted to accept the terms and conditions while giving a few important things to know (3points).
Now, assuming I understood the reminders and the T& C's, I continued. The USDT payments will be via the Tron network, which as we know has lower network fees.
Oh well, quite disheartening that I do not have enough funds, but I think that this is a straightforward payment.
Now, what if I could pay with HBD?
I look forward to the day when HBD will be a universally accepted method of payment. Imagine, paying off your bills directly from your Hive wallet?
