There is a reason and it's deeper than just some recall election. This is what happens when in so many ways you alienate every voter no matter the party and worse, the GOP also doesn't really realize, Millennials and Gen-Z combined are now as it is mercenaries, so how did we get to here?
The election in 2023 is a massive starting point. I knew and more that Jeff Landry would be elected and also have the worst turnout known to man, at least at the time, my mom's good friend didn't get under 35% turnout for a city election in South Bend, Indiana that is even more diabolical than here in Louisiana.
All it took was the ongoing culture war to start the fire and he added the gasoline, but also the biggest issues like Outmigration in solutions are like a fake brown Louis Vittion Knapsack, because why the fuck not, you know. When you pull back the layers of population loss it's really even bigger than it was when my mom graduated high school, and now over 300,000 people in that time was gained but the stagnation was even in 20 plus years of my mom's high school graduation and myself... Louisiana gain 30,000 people. But Katrina exposed the problem in front of the world, it is outmigration and also been an issue even beforehand. When the partisanship and all fall apart, the problem is that and the responsibility is on BOTH sides of the aisle, for that say to me, I am on the fence or something else that way or stop with the bothsidesism, BS! That is really the reason why we the people in my state is holding both parties accountable, looking back if it wasn't for Hurricane Katrina, it's Brown v. ESA that showed that she followed, along with Blagojevich and Arnold of a Bill that at the end of it all was unconstitutional by the Supreme Court in 2011.
The current face of the culture war and outmigration and full concequences therein? And currently? Jeff Landry... But also really... John Bel Edwards as well in the past and also even Bobby Piyush Jindal himself plus other governors in the past.
But! All it took was the first five amendments a year or so ago, for the people of Louisiana to say, "enough of the BS, fuck them (political)"...
And really that is Jeff Landry. When you alienate every demographic of Louisiana from Young to old and also in full importance Millennials and Gen-Z combined right now are going to be the majority of voters by next year or even this year?
That is the kiss this election goodbye for his re-election hopes, recall or not.
And the GOP in Louisiana and the country will be in a rude awakening as well for next year and the presidential election plus even this year too.
When it is all said and done, it all started with 5 amendments to the state constitution by the people of Louisiana to vote on a year ago.
