It is always pleasant to take walks in nature some do it in the park or in the forest well and since the closest natural biotope to me is the swamps I take walks there along narrow paths trampled by gardeners who arbitrarily seize peat bog areas for their crops very fertile soil however.
So, what I noticed when I walked with a camera through peat bogs at any time of the year I felt only the aroma of stars and field grasses, and in late autumn and early spring it was the aroma of dry grasses but there were no foreign smells.
In a pile of rotten leaves in the fall if you disturb this pile, you will smell such a repulsive smell.
A similar smell of rot can be felt near any lake, even if you leave your aquarium unattended in a week it will turn into a fetid liquid but in the swamps there is no reminder of the processes of rotting biomass.
Bacteria in the lower layers of the swamps work with such activity that it looks like a tireless factory processing hydrogen sulfide and other unpleasant companions of the rotting process.
