Every spring the cherry orchard woke up after a long winter and enjoyed life.
It did not remember at all what happened to it last year and each time it enjoyed the new knowledge that came to it from the outside world.
The world seemed to him a complete idyll.
The first spring warmth the first eyes with warm rains, the birds began to sing and build nests on the branches of the cherry trees and caring buzzing bees flew in and carefully pollinated the flowers of the cherry orchard.
Later the orchard learned that berries appeared from the flowers on its branches which were green at first but gradually they began to gain a red color became larger and juicier.
What will happen next?
This question did not bother the cherry orchard.
But one day when the branches of the cherry trees were like ruby necklaces that crowned the beautiful cherries people appeared in the garden.
People came with baskets and buckets and began to pick cherries from the branches.
Some did it carefully some picked the fruits with leaves, and some broke whole branches in pursuit of profit.
The world for the cherry garden turned upside down at that moment it realized that not everything was as rosy as it seemed to it life is full of unpleasant surprises.
I decided to put such thoughts into my drawing and make them its basis.
It is nice to remember only the good but sometimes you need to remember everything.
Once again I sharpened the pencils with a graphite rod and got to work.
I started working with a sketch of the cherries.
Yes, people again but what can I do although I do not like to draw them but without them the thought will not be complete.
A little routine work won't ruin your day.
Working on volume is the most interesting for me but sometimes it's not immediately clear how and what can be done you have to go through trials and errors.
Leaf texture is still a difficult task for me but I hope that gradually I will bring such work to automatism.
The softer the graphite the more pleasant it is to work on textures.
I tried to remember what the trunk of a cherry tree looks like but what happened was what happened.
In essence the fate of the cherry fruit is determined either it will end up in the basket of a cherry picker or it will end up on the ground and rot but the tree may not remember and not know this lol.
Four hours after starting work I put the pencils on the table next to the finished drawing.
