I think there passed two days in a row and I simply couldn't write anything. I was around on the Hive blockchain and InLeo in special and also in crypto in general, but all the information that surrounded me simply wasn't an inspiration for me to write. So, I stepped back from it, met some friends, had some open discussions. Still nothing... than I've started reading some magazines, not related in any way to crypto. And from the first one and a catching phrase in its title - something about not being active - connected something in my mind which translated that idea into an article - The cost of inactivity on the Hive blockchain is one you cannot afford it. Simply letting my mind fly it made the right connections and out of the blue, out of thin air, here I had an idea of an article to write.

And guess what? While I realized how my brain worked and maybe it works for you in the same way, I have thought about writing another article for cases where we are blocked and we simply cannot create anything. Thus here I am with an advice from experience which through the previous and current article proves that if you don't know what to write about, take a step back and let your mind fly. And the ideas will come at you. But you need not to try to hard to come up with something as that will only bring more stress. Let your mind clear itself from any pressure, let it wonder and it will come back with some amazing realizations and ideas.

Don't force yourself to write

Speaking from my own experience I can say that when I push myself to write when I am not in the mood, the ideas just won’t come out from my mind and I simply end up feeling frustrated. Instead, when I take a step back (like I did before writing this article) and had a pause, the world around me start giving me ideas to write.

Don't add pressure on yourself

Putting pressure on ourselves will result in only blocking our creativity and making the process feel like an obligation rather than something enjoyable. By doing nothing, relaxing, changing our routine will make our brain to create new neuronal pathways. And that's when creativity finds again new roots and starts growing back.

Don't worry, writing desire and creativity will come back when the time is right

Sometimes, all we need is to let things happen on their own. Creativity doesn’t vanish forever, but it’s just waiting for the right spark to reignite. We just need to have faith and be patient. And to tell you the truth I prefer to wait and say something smart, rather than nonsense and useless conversation.

Do something that disrupts your current state of mind

Other times we need to shake up our routine, whether it’s going for a walk, meeting some old friends, or exploring a new hobby. A small change can create new perspectives and help the brain shift into a more creative mode. Changing décor, going out, connecting, networking or anything else will work wonders even if we don't realize it.

Feed your mind with new, but diverse information

I like reading finance magazines, watching people when I try or simple listen to things outside my usual interests. This ultimately end up sparking fresh ideas. The more diverse situation I put myself, the more I stumble upon an unexpected thing that inspires me. I don't know what's next, sometimes I don't plan for it and it just happens naturally for the inspiration to come to me.

Chill out, have fun and enjoy the crypto ride

I am realizing that relaxing and having fun are just as important as staying productive. Taking the time to enjoy what’s around me helps me feel more refreshed and ready to jump back into writing or engaging with the crypto world. And today I have a party to the office, time to let my mind fly and rest, while recharging for other times were I lack inspiration.

These are all the points that I thought are important whenever I am blocked. It is stressful to be connected to something each and every day and even hours from it. We need to enjoy life, we need to grow not only financially or in the digital world. By balancing things around us, we will find the appetite to continue what we like. Writing and engaging in crypto in general and on the Hive blockchain and InLeo in special shouldn't be like a job, we shouldn't force that into us. Because if we do so, at some point we'll lose interest and we'll simply run away from here. I think this is an important aspect that we need to realize and simply consider it each and every day. And if we can do that, we'll be more energized, we'll want to engage and create content from our experiences, readings or whatever our brains throws at us. There isn't a single way, different things work for different people, but we should understand this aspect as well and don't add pressure on ourselves. It will simply not work for long this way...
