Rebellion revolutionized through different mechanics the entire ecosystem from Splinterlands compared to other Edition sets like Chaos Legion and most of the rewards can be taken from the New format. While I have invested big in the Chaos Legion and I saw the packs going under $1, I refused to invest in any other edition cards until I recoup my investment (if that would even be possible). So for now my playing is mostly done in the Wild format where there are a lot of players probably in the same situation as mine that are fighting for the rewards pool. More players, less rewards one would say, but my last Rewards Chest revealed that it is not the case or at least not always.
Story of the day
I have these days some pain from a bad tooth and I sleep whenever it lets me. Thus I have slept around 8 PM in the evening, which is quite unusual for me. But by doing that, guess what? Well, I was up awake around 5 AM in the morning with nothing to do on my hands. So that's when I've opened my laptop and thought of playing some Splinterlands. But before jumping on the battlefield, as I had some Reward Chests unopened from the previous day I thought of opening them right at that moment. And with the first Rewards Chests opened I just was speechless. I guess Santa came earlier for me.
Wild Rewards of the day
I only had 4 Rewards Chests, so I wasn't expecting for something meaningful. So I have moved to open them and the first strike simply made my day. Here are the rewards that I got
- 1848,158 SPS or $56.55 at current market price of $0.0306
- 0.549 SPS
- 1x Swamp Spitter
- 1x Possessed Puppet
I simply cannot remember the last time I had so much luck on opening Rewards Chests and if it was as good as $56 in SPS. And guess what I did with all of them? You are right, I've staked them all as I think that we have yet to see the power and value of the Splintershards. I am eyeing at least $0.10 per SPS during a full crypto bull run, thus it is still the time to accumulate as much as possible.
Splintershards goals
When it comes to Splintershards I simply feel that I don't have enough. With the current bump of around 1850 SPS more from the Rewards Chests, my staked Splintershards balance is standing at 118,939.144. But that is nowhere I want to be when the crypto bull run will hit every viable blockchain and ecosystem. So here are my immediate and long term goals in terms of Splintershards.
- 120,000 SPS (that's quite feasible and I wonder if I will reach that by end of the year)
- 150,000 SPS
- 200,000 SPS
I could list more goals related to Splintershards, but I don't want to be unrealistic. I could put even 1,000,000 SPS but that will take me years to reach. Thus, having the 200k SPS as ultimate goal I think it is achievable and provides me motivation to keep grinding. That's all from my side, happy days and goals to hunt!
