Hello friends of #hive and the @holos-lotus community, I hope you have an excellent and blessed day. This is my entry for the initiative December is here!... What are we going to do?, by my friend @damarysvibra. The Christmas season, as I've mentioned in previous posts, is one of my favorite times of the year. I love decorating, making ornaments, and visiting the city squares, as they are adorned with beautiful and colorful decorations that give the place a different style and create a pleasant atmosphere where adults and children alike take photos, stroll around, and admire the eye-catching decorations that beautify the squares, avenues, and shopping centers. I also love Christmas for the delicious food, which wouldn't be complete without the Hallaca. Personally, I associate this dish with Christmas, with the pleasant aroma that the stew gives off. The hallaca reminds me of Christmas in my childhood, when my mother prepared the hallacas and my sisters and I helped with small tasks such as tying and cleaning the leaves.
What am I going to do this Christmas? This year is going to be very different from last year. In fact, I haven't put up the tree yet because of several home repairs that prevent me from doing so. But I did decorate the doors and windows with ornaments I made last year. This Christmas I want to rest, enjoy the season at home, calmly and peacefully, and finish some pending projects.

Hola amigos de #hive y comunidad @holos-lotus, deseo que tengan un excelente y bendecido día, esta es mi entrada para la iniciativa ¡Llegó Diciembre!... ¿Qué vamos a hacer?, de la amiga@damarysvibra, la época navideña, como he mencionado en publicaciones anteriores, es una de mis favoritas del año, me encanta decorar, hacer los adornos y visitar las plazas de la ciudad, pues estas se visten con hermosas y coloridas decoraciones, que le dan un estilo diferente al lugar y crean un ambiente agradable, donde grandes y chicos aprovechan para tomar fotos, pasear y admirar los llamativos adornos que embellecen las plazas, avenidas y centros comerciales, también me gusta la Navidad por la deliciosa comida, en la cual no puede faltar la Hallaca, en lo personal asocio este platillo, con la Navidad, el agradable aroma que desprende el guiso de la hallaca, me recuerda la Navidad en mi infancia, cuando mi mamá preparaba las hallacas y con mis hermanas, ayudábamos a hacer pequeñas tareas como; amarrar y limpiar las hojas.
¿Qué voy a hacer en esta Navidad? este año va a ser muy diferente al anterior, de hecho aún no he colocado el árbol, debido a varias reparaciones en el hogar lo cual no me permite colocar el árbol, pero sí adorné las puertas y ventanas, con adornos que hice el año pasado, esta Navidad quiero descansar, disfrutar la temporada en casa, con calma, tranquila y terminar algunos proyectos pendientes.
I would also like to share a family dinner at home, savoring the delicious salad, the ham bread, and the traditional hallaca. December, besides being one of the most beautiful months, reminds us that the year is about to end and invites us to reflect on and evaluate our achievements and areas for improvement in our lives.
At this time of year, I usually set goals and plans for the coming year. I write them down in a notebook and cross off the ones I achieve. In the few days left this month, I'll take the opportunity to finish what's pending, evaluate which of the goals I set last year were fully accomplished, identify areas for improvement, and determine which goals I couldn't reach. I'll also analyze the possible reasons why these projects didn't come to fruition. One of the most important and primary goals I'll set for next year is taking care of my health. Health is fundamental to well-being, but while I wait for 2026, it wouldn't hurt to enjoy the delicious Christmas dishes prepared in Venezuela.
También me gustaría compartir la cena familiar en casa, degustar la deliciosa ensalada, el pan de jamón y la respectiva hallaca, el mes de diciembre, además de ser uno de los más hermosos, nos recuerda que el año está por terminar y nos invita a reflexionar y evaluar los logros o aspectos por mejorar que debemos hacer en nuestras vidas.
Tengo por costumbre en esta época trazar metas y planes para el año venidero, los anoto en un cuaderno y voy tachando los que se van alcanzando, en los los pocos días que quedan del mes, aprovecharé para terminar los pendientes, evaluar y ver cuáles de los propósitos que tracé el año pasado, fueron logrados en su totalidad, los aspectos que debo corregir, cuáles metas no se pudieron alcanzar? y analizar las posibles causas que no permitieron que estos proyectos se lograran, una de las metas importantes y primordiales que plantearé para el próximo año es el cuidado de la salud, la salud es fundamental para tener bienestar, pero mientras espero el año 2026, no cae nada mal degustar los deliciosos platillos navideños que se preparan en Venezuela.
Something else I like about Christmas is the fireworks. When I was little, I loved watching these displays in the sky—the famous seven colors, twelve colors, and the rockets that lit up the sky at the end of the year. But at this stage of my life, I won't deny that I enjoy seeing the colors reflected in the sky, but the deafening noise some of them make is really annoying.
I prefer listening to Christmas music, spending time with family and friends, watching my son open his gift 🎁 from Baby Jesus, and seeing the expression on his face. It's a beautiful moment that I enjoy and treasure in my heart ❤️😘. After opening the gift, he shows it to me several times and thanks me for it. These experiences have great sentimental value. I still find it hard to believe that he's no longer a baby 🍼 whom I had to carry in my arms when I left the house just a few years ago. I think I'm getting nostalgic and the post is getting off-topic. In conclusion, the moments shared with children are beautiful and remain treasured in our hearts. I appreciate the invitation from my friend @hylene74 and extend it to @brujita18 and @annafenix.
Algo que también me gusta de la Navidad son los fuegos artificiales, cuando estaba pequeña disfrutaba ver estos espectáculos en el cielo, los famosos siete colores, doce colores y los cohetes que iluminaban el cielo al terminar el año, pero en esta etapa de mi vida, no voy a negar que me gusta ver los colores que se reflejan en el cielo, pero el sonido ensordecedor que emiten algunos de ellos es realmente molesto.
Prefiero escuchar música navideña, compartir con familiares y amigos, ver a mi hijo abrir su regalo 🎁 del niño Jesús y la expresión en el rostro, es un hermoso momento que disfruto y atesoro en mi corazón ❤️😘 luego de abrir el regalo me lo muestra varias veces y agradece por su obsequio, estas vivencias tienen un gran valor sentimental, aún me cuesta creer que ya no es un bebé 🍼 al cual hasta hace pocos años tenía que llevar en mis brazos cuando salía de casa, creo que me estoy poniendo nostálgica y la publicación se está desviando del tema central, en conclusión, son hermosos los momentos que se comparten con los hijos y quedan atesorados en nuestros corazones, agradezco la invitación de la amiga @hylene74 y la extiendo a @brujita18 y @annafenix.
