As a leader, you must build a constructive team. People who will be giving information, people who will seek information from other organizations, the ones who will bring clarity, and the ones who encourage others to carry out a project without fear. And the gatekeepers, they guide your company with sincerity without playing the role of destruction.Good communication is equally important. In Nigeria, where we interact with people from different ethnic groups, languages, and cultures, a leader must know how to communicate clearly and respectfully. Listening carefully before speaking has helped me avoid misunderstandings and build stronger relationships with others.

Another quality I admire in great leaders is courage. There are times when making the right decision is not the easiest option. Whether it is standing against corruption, speaking up for someone being treated unfairly, or making sacrifices for the good of the group, leadership often requires bravery.I believe that having a good intention is the first requirement of a leader. If a person has good intentions to do something good for the team, he will try to find out the way to make the team better and effective. If the intention is evil there is no way one person can be turned into a good leader. That’s the reality and nobody can change it.

The mentality of moving forward together is the requirement to be a good leader. A true leader is the one who leads the way for everyone and protects them from strength and ensures their safety. A true leader never abandons his teammates doesn’t matter what the situation is. How a leader can be good if he abandons his teammates in the middle. It’s not ideal.If you see an organization succeeding, there must have been good teamwork. A CEO once shared with me how he would call his team members together to discuss and bring a solution on how to move the company forward. When there was no reasonable response, the manager closed down the company for a week and asked his team members to go home and pray and bring results.
