I can’t imagine myself winning $1 million; it will be a dream come true. The majority of people will go for a luxurious lifestyle, spending the money on expensive cars, shopping, and so on. To be honest, there is nothing wrong with spending a little of the money; a million dollars is capable of changing someone's life if the person has proper planning. I will not lie; seeing a one-million-dollar drop in my account will be the best day of my life. I will be so excited. Here comes the main thing.
I will focus and make decisions that I will benefit from for a long period of time rather than spending the money to support a soft life. So for me, the first thing I know i would do is quit my job, and it is not because I hate working or anything, nope, but because I would want some alone time to think properly without the pressure of everyday responsibilities hanging on my head.
We have seen situations where a lot of people receive life changing amounts of money and they rush to spending it, only for them to regret their decisions later on, i do not want to be that person at all. Even before the $1 million drop in my account, I had a lot of things on my mind, but what was holding me was capital, to be honest. Having such a sum in my account, I would be tempted to spend the money, but the best thing I can do at the moment is avoid making sudden purchases.
According to history, many people who win the lottery end up losing the money because they spend too quickly. When it comes to me, I will take my time and make a decision because if I make the wrong decision, it will affect me in the future. First I will take some part of money and help my family, my family will always come first, I would love to support and take care of them.
I will support my siblings in their business and clear their debts if there is any, take care of my mummy by taking her to the best hospital for treatment and check up. Infact I will give my parents the kind of comfortable life they desire. Seeing my family happy and safe, gives me joy and great fulfillment.
