These two people already have their future planned for after they run out of supplies and do not want to leave the place because they consider that there is nothing for them outside, Ish wants to keep looking, but realices that it is best to return home but not alone, he does it with Locky a canine companion he finds on the way.
During the first year nothing happens, the only thing he does is to learn from books how to survive, until he meets Emma (Jessica Frances) who will become his life companion and the one who will help him make good decisions in the moments when his instinct to remain alone clouds his understanding.
Little by little, characters are added to the story, some of them survivors of the old world and others who are born in San Lupo, the name of this community. We see how society is rebuilt based on trust, friendship, family, teamwork and expelling evil.

What I didn’t like is that even if you justify the clothes and food, for a while it may work but I don’t think that will last a lifetime and when ten or twenty years go by the decay is going to be inevitable. When at the beginning Ish starts driving and rolling long distances I wondered if he wasn’t going to get gas and although it was logical that he would do it I would have liked a little scene doing something as basic as that when you have a vehicle, because I only saw Ish doing it and not exactly from a gas station.
One scene that disgusted me was that of the pests, in this case the rats. Without people to control them, these animals reproduce and are capable of wiping out everything, fortunately that’s what cats are for. When I say the romantic part of the series I also say it because of the resolution of the problems that arise, where the solution appears out of nowhere without any effort or making the community spend a little work; for example, there comes a time when the water runs out, it is logical because there is no one working on the aqueduct, in its care and maintenance. Lo que me ha gustado es como se desarrolla la historia de una forma muy ligera e incluso romántica de una situación en la que la gente perdería los nervios y se volvería loca, porque a pesar de ser una serie apocalíptica, en ningún momento ves que los personajes estén sentados y con aspecto descuidado, al contrario, siempre están muy limpios, bien vestidos y las casas en muy buen estado, pero eso es entendible porque la gente murió por un virus y no por un terremoto y al tener tan pocos habitantes, las tiendas están llenas de cosas que les harán la vida más fácil y que pueden usar sin pagar y los supermercados también están llenos de comida que nadie más que ellos irá a buscar.
Lo que no me ha gustado es que aunque justifiques la ropa y la comida, durante un tiempo puede funcionar pero no creo que eso dure toda la vida y cuando pasen diez o veinte años la decadencia va a ser inevitable. Cuando al principio Ish empieza a conducir y a rodar largas distancias me preguntaba si no iba a echar gasolina y aunque era lógico que lo hiciera me hubiera gustado una pequeña escena haciendo algo tan básico como eso cuando tienes un vehículo, porque solo vi a Ish haciéndolo y no precisamente desde una gasolinera.
Una escena que me disgustó fue la de las plagas, en este caso las ratas. Sin gente que las controle, estos animales se reproducen y son capaces de acabar con todo, afortunadamente para eso están los gatos. Cuando digo la parte romántica de la serie también lo digo por la resolución de los problemas que surgen, donde la solución aparece de la nada sin ningún esfuerzo o haciendo que la comunidad se gaste un poco de trabajo; por ejemplo, llega un momento en que se acaba el agua, es lógico porque no hay nadie trabajando en el acueducto, en su cuidado y mantenimiento. ¿Cómo se soluciona eso? No es una mala serie, tiene muchas cosas ilógicas que se resuelven con magia y mucha buena vibra, pero es buena porque es diferente a otras producciones con tramas apocalípticas donde prima la supervivencia sobre las relaciones humanas.
