Welcome to the Art & 3D series where I share a cool artwork that I print and talk about every Monday.

In this one I share a neat model made by lbrmn_nr of thigiverse, it's a neat flexi grid fidget cube what makes it cool was that it is a print in place meaning it is all in one no assembly and the only way to take it apart is to break it.

The print

I printed mine in silver PLA but I think this model would look better with some multicolor filament, but that is what I had loaded on the machine at the time 🤣

Fluff

what up gang,

So everyone's losing their minds over 3D printing, but they're still thinking small. They're printing plastic toys, maybe some metal parts. Cute. Ya boy is looking at the real next step: voxel-level printing. You can think of a voxel like a 3D pixel. It ain't just about color; it's a tiny programmable block of matter with properties you can define... density, material, charge, whatever. That's where things get interesting.

This is the path that kills the factory. No more giant, filthy buildings stamping out a million identical things. No more container ships full of crap from halfway across the world. You'll get true on-demand physical assets. That's the foreseeable future, the next big grind.

Now, the real deep-future, sci-fi shit is taking this down to the micro molecular level. That's a whole other galaxy away, probably not in our lifetimes dawg. We're talking about a machine, a true molecular assembler, that builds things atom by atom from a pool of base elements. Need a fork? It makes one. Done with it? It un-makes it, reclaiming every molecule. That’s the ultimate endgame for waste and production.

But let's be real, that's the destination. Voxel control is the next stop. Mastering that alone makes the current supply chain obsolete. People are so focused on printing slightly stronger plastic they can't see the real revolution coming. It’s not about just making things, it's about programming matter itself. That's true decentralization, baby. Physical assets on demand.

I am a financial advisor ! If you can't take personal responsibility for you investing, I hate to brake it to ya, but you ain't nothing but a sucka, you supposed to lose your shit.

@bitcoinman's bits of wisdom

  • Invest only what you can afford to lose and be mindful of the potential risks.
  • Unless you can accept delivery stay away from futures and stick to physical.
  • Leverage is a great tool for losing money fast.
  • Numismatics for the lows stick to smart stacking baby.
  • Be cautious of new schemes in crypto, like ICOs, DeFi, and NFTs, do your research before investing.
