Welcome to the lil metal series for this week, I am sharing a lil cube of tungsten, now it is a metal you stackers should be familiar with not because it is valuable but because it's dentistry is very close to gold and so it is often used in gold fakes and sometimes with actually impressive results that defeat an XRF machine (the fake in question is a real gold coin that has been hollowed out and filled with tungsten.
Anyway this hard metal is also good for other stuff, one thing to note is that it is hard to work with.
It has a lot of uses and even makes good shielding for radiation,
Also apparently lots of tungsten based compounds are used as dies , ya learn something new every day
