I got another printer 🤣
But why bitcoinman you already have 8 printers... I am sick 🤣
I got an itch to get another I really wanted to get a belt printer it's not really like any of my other machines and has some cool things you can do with it.
Instead of a conventional print bed this belt printer has a belt and also prints at a 45 degree angles this enables one to do a few things
- Use little to no supports
- Print something "infinitely" long
- Batch print with the revolving belt allowing for continuous printing without user intervention
Sounds neat so I gave it a go I got it on Amazon and it came the next day I set it up fairly quickly and got to testing it out
I got a few little models printed but they did not come out great and also there was a lot of issues too the stuff was either falling off the belt too early or was getting stuck too hard which would cause issues and ruined the belt as it's a felty material, on top of that the x axis was later shipping and that is what you see above, also the wifi function was not working either.
So there was only one sound solution send this fine chinesium back🤣 this manufacturer is off the mark on the China 2025 initiative they supposed to make quality products now.
as you can see I was packing it up and now it's ready to go back to Amazon, I may consider looking into these printers in the future but it would probably be wise to just stick with what I got and try to hold out on buying any more machines.
