If you know me or follow the blog you probabbly already know that I am all about them gadgets.
Well in this one I share some smart glasses I got a while back and am finally getting around to posting about them, the reason I am doing this post is becouse I have recently designed and printed something for these smart glasses and this thing is going to be part of an onboarding scheme.
Right bellow are the prototypes for this thing but more on that in a later post, in this one I tell you guys about the actual glasses
These glasses are the INMO air 2, They are stand alone android based smart glasses, they feature a binocular color display that means each eye has it's own display.
I was exited for google glasses all those years back but things did not materialize and google abandoned that project, but it seems smart glasses are making a bit of a comeback.
These glasses are made in China, and the build is fairly good they may have learned a thing or 2 being the worlds factory however those days are moving past us with the China 2025 initiative and they are really stepping up their innovation game.
The INMO air 2 is a reasonable piece of tech, when worn they look like slightly bulk glasses with most of the bulk hidden behind the frame with the 2 bulbs near the joints.
The screen resolution is alright but leaves much to be desired, the android nature of the device gives you flexibility to install some apps on it outside of the apps that it comes with and are available in their app store.
The battery life is not great and the thing that I designed for the glasses has to do with that.
They have a charge/ sync magnetic cable.
There are some neat apps on it like an AI assistant, live language translate, navigation app and a bunch more and you can install lots of other apps however not everything is compatible.
It also can connect to your phone giving you notification and you can even cast you phone screen to the glasses, you can also use them as a second display for your computer
