The stakitus and lack of sleep really catch up, I am not sure If I shared this before, anyway, what I am sharing is my toning experiment with a 80% Canadian silver dime.
I used a liver of sulfur solution mixed with hot water to blacken the coin, then I used some fine jewelry cleaner to strategically remove some of the patina, I think it came out fairly cool.
It is important to keep in mind that doing this to coins , will effect their collector value but this particular coin doesn't have much to begin with so it is really not a big deal, Also it is possible to actually make a profit making coins look cool but then the trick is finding interested buyers.
