This was an interesting week for me in fantasy football. I was just coming off the win against @mrsbozz and I was still feeling a bit bad about that. Add to that the fact that a couple key pieces of my team were going to be on bye this week, and I wasn't really sure what was going to happen.

Of course, it ended up being a bit of a disaster. It seems like every time I get a big win it is always followed up by a huge loss. That was definitely the case this weekend. I was facing off against my brother in law who is now 5-2 on the season and sits in 3rd place. It's probably a tie for third place given how many people were 4-2 last week.

Oh, by the way, that's my niece laying down a sacrifice bunt in the opening photo. She executed it perfectly and her team was able to score a run off that hit. It was fantastic. I am pretty proud I was able to grab such a great shot of it with my little smart phone.
As you can see, the scores weren't even close this week. A 20 point difference is a lot to make up when you are going against someone with a team as good as my brother in law. I really thought I had a chance for a second there, but then heading into Monday night it was looking less and less like a reality. -0
Bummer!

As you can see, he has Mahomes as his quarterback and as I have learned in the past, that isn't a magic bullet that is always going to get you the win. In fact, 14 points from a player of his level is actually quite horrible. I would expect 20 to 25 points week in and week out from a QB like that.
Meanwhile, Allen was back to his normal form putting up 21 points. Metcalf even did a good job with his 15.9 points. 20 would have been better, but I will take 15.9. Even Thomas with his 17 points is pretty decent. What isn't decent is the .3 points that Downs put up. Horrible, just horrible. I think he was a late addition anyway and now I am kind of regretting that.
Conner with 15 points rushing is acceptable as well. Allgeier with 4.50, not so much. Bowers with 9.3 is about what I have come to expect from him this season. I can't really complain about that.
I usually get a little more from my kicker though this isn't the first 3 point game that McPherson has had. Meanwhile New Orleans screwed me over since the Bears were on bye and I had to sit that Defense.

As you can see though, once again my bench would have had zero impact on the outcome of this game. I was screwed right from the get go. Okay, maybe not right from the get go, but it was going to be a tough battle no matter what. It looks like I am going to have to make some more changes to my roster for the coming week. I don't know if I can count on some of these players to carry me through.
