It's interesting how markets are reacting today. Looking at a lot of different financial avenues sometimes has me scratching my head. A lot of markets seem surprisingly happy considering the overall global financial situation is crumbling. Record high inflation is everywhere and everyone's budgets are tapped or people are going into credit card debt to make ends meet.

You look at the stock market and it's doing well, considering it's massively overvalued in many areas. NVIDIA is a prime example of this. I look at my portfolio and many oil commodity stocks are on the decline, despite gas prices remaining high. One product is largely for use in final products for entertainment, whereas the other is used in plastics, fuel, chemicals, etc.
Bitcoin, Hive and other altcoins are on the uptick. I think we're seeing an effect from the combination of the approved Bitcoin ETFs and the halvening that's supposed to happen in April. There's no surprise there, as people turn to Bitcoin and crypto as a whole to give their portfolios a boost.
With crypto seemingly in the beginning stages of another bull market, it's odd that gold and silver would be experiencing an uptick. This is especially true of gold, as many see Bitcoin and gold as competitors.
Personally, I'd rather see Hive and Bitcoin rise, while gold and silver prices decrease. I invest money into all of them, but I particularly like to see low metals prices so I can buy more. I'm hoping these competing assets all going up in price in unison are simply due to investors making a concerted effort to protect their wealth outside of failing fiat currencies.
We're certainly in interesting times these days. All we can do is prepare as best we can and know how, and try to adjust as market sentiments change.
