Hello Splinter nerds
I missed playing the wild format because it has been so long since I played it, I played it during the last big tournament by Splinterlands and won 2 rebellion packs and 7,000 Dec, The gameplay is totally different from the modern format because the cards in the wild are unlimited.
I choose the modern Format over wild now because modern gives more sps in rank play than wild and the wild format is full of bots...
The rebellion cards make the modern interesting though and with the release of new cards changing the game, it is actually fun if you have the money to keep maxing the newly released cards cos you will be frustrated if the opponent keeps using such cards to defeat you in battles.

A good example is Lorkus the newly released summoner which happens to also be my most used summoner now because of its stats...
This summoner has +1 magic and +1 melee power given to all monsters it summoned, which gives magic monsters more advantage in battles. This is one of the reasons why I use it to summon magic monsters; I rarely use it for Melee monsters.
Being a dual summoner, It can be used to summon fire and death splinter monsters and that is not all, it also gives players the option to choose between two pairs of abilities, I use the first one which is Life leech and Affliction as the other ability does not work for magic, Magic monsters have no relation with trample ability but the fury is still great but not good enough to sacrifice the other two abilities for.
I had a battle with Truls, it was a 41 mana cap with three ruleset Combo and only 2 splinters were available which were fire and water.

The rules of the battle were:
Keep your distance: Melee monsters can not be used
Odd ones out: Only monsters with Odd mana can be used
Aim True: All monsters hit their Target
There was a big limitation in this battle so there was a big chance that the opponent and I would come up with a similar line-up and that was exactly what happened.
We used the same summoner to summon some high-magic power monsters, and our setup had only a slight difference.
My Formation
Chaos Agent & Nalara Geinek

These two monsters were the same thing the opponent used in his 1st and 2nd position but unfortunately for him, I used a monster with Ambush that killed his chaos agent before the battle started, mine was eliminated by his Djinn Inferni, Nalara in her own part was able to suppress the magic of the monsters by -1 which affected me too since the opponent also used it.
Scavo Hireling & Djinn Inferni

Speed matters in splinter lands, it gives you the chance to attack first and hence why I use Scavo hireling with the slow ability to reduce the opponent's speed, and Djinn Inferni is a monster with high magic power that helped to defeat the opponent Nalara and spirit hoarder
Baron Fyatt & Rush townsend
)

These two monsters are the monsters of the battle, they made winning possible Townsend with the range ability and ambush paved the way for my wins as it was able to cause great damage to the opponent monsters while Baron with the Halving ability reduced the opponent strong monster attack to half which rendered most powerless.
