Hello Splinter nerds

I just realized today that I have been using my glint wrongly, I did not care about reward cards cos I had them maxed already so I have been using my glint to purchase energy directly not until today someone told me I could use the glint to buy Ultimate chest which would give me all kind of rewards including glint, so I would get energy which is even more than what I would get if I buy directly.

A few minutes ago, I bought the ultimate chest with 17,500 Glint and got 15 energy with some other rewards whereas the same 15 energy costs 54,000 Glint when energy is purchased directly.

So if you have been doing it wrongly like me, you are welcome for the tips!

This week's Splinterlands battle mage secrets is Lost Legendaries

It is a rule in which all legendary monsters can not be used but it does not affect legendary summoners' usage.

it took me forever to get this rule set, had to play more than 40 battles and when I eventually got it, I made sure I set a killer formation and hoped luck was on my side.

I got two other rulesets along with it.

Target Practice: This was one of the rules, all the magic and range attack monsters have the snipe ability which means they would attack the first magic, range, or nonattack monster in the opponent team excluding the tank.

Lost Magic: No magic monsters can be used, so we are only left with melee and range attackers

Based on the rule combo, I see no usefulness for range attack so I came up with sneaky monsters, need to give the opponent a good fight even if he win, I will know I tried my best but luck was on my side and I was victorious.

My formation

Antoid Platoon & Nimbledook Scout

Antoid was my tank and a strong one because it has a shield ability that will protect him against melee and ranged damage, the opponent Dumarke Orc tried to eliminate it but it was not up to the task, moreover, it was not given the chance by the other rear monsters I used, Nimbledook has only 1 purpose which is to inspire the sneaky monsters I used by giving them additional +1 melee attack.

Gobalano Soldier, Uraeus and Tenyii Striker

Image from thread

Gobalano is one of my favorite sneaky monsters and that is because of his amazing abilities, the shatter and ambush, these two abilities made it possible to defeat the opponent Orc as the armor was destroyed at a go and also it eliminated the opponent's weirding warrior before the round started with his ambush ability..

Uraeus was the second sneaky monster I used and it was the one that eliminated the weirding warrior when it was resurrected by the opponent summoner with rebirth stat.

Last but not least is Tenyii which I placed at the last position cos of his dodge ability but that didn't save him from the opponent Silent- Shavi strike.

At the end of the battle, the opponent could not take down any of my monsters, so it was a flawless victory!
