Today I felt like wearing something a little different, so I decided to go with bright red lipstick. I don't wear such a strong color every day, but sometimes I really like how it changes my whole look. It's funny how something as simple as lipstick can make you feel a little more dressed up, even when you're just staying at home. 😊
I'm wearing a gray blouse with a little bow around the neckline. It's simple, comfortable, and one of those pieces that doesn't need too many accessories. I left my hair loose, added a little makeup, and that was pretty much it.
I took a few selfies, and I have to laugh because I always start with a serious expression. I promise I'm not upset with anyone! Haha! 😅 Sometimes I just concentrate too much on getting the right angle.
The light was coming through the room, and although it made the background a little too bright, I liked the picture anyway.
I've been thinking that it's nice to make a little effort with our appearance sometimes, even when we don't have anywhere special to go. Not because we need to impress anyone, but simply because it feels good to look in the mirror and like what we see.
Of course, I also have days when I don't feel like doing my makeup or fixing my hair at all, and that's perfectly fine too.
Today was just a red lipstick kind of day. 💄❤️
Now I'm going to get back to my usual activities and enjoy the rest of the day. I hope everyone is doing well and having a peaceful weekend.
