Hello everyone, This is @cantfoldaces participating in the Weekly Battle Mage Secrets Challenge, in the best #play2earn game out there!! #splinterlands!!
Does anyone having troubles with the Silver League!? Man the battles are getting extremely difficult and so competitive to the point I can easily go on a 7 battles loss streak just because of a minor diff in my team's placements. But you know, more battles = higher chance to find a cool match to share for these weekly challenges!

Description

One thing I know about Born Again is battles going for longer than usual and adds up a spark of excitement in a given battle! Sometimes I can't keep track on who got Reborn and who didn't :')
As I have mentionned before, it's important to stress on the fact that ressurected monsters are back with 100% of their initial important adding more importance to Armor and better: Void Armor!
On the other hand, speaking of Abilities, my best choice would be picking one (or most) of these:
- Divine Shield: This ability is annoying on its own, imagine having to go through that a second time
- Martyr: Oh yeah we all love Martyr especially with the Earth Team and now we bring the ability to proc it not once but TWICE
- Bloodlust: It's easy to again stacks of Bloodlust especially with Double attacks Monsters like Quora Towershed as the first attack kill the monsters for a 1st Bloodlust + the 2nd on a reborn 1 Health monster for a 2nd Bloodlust!
Enough theory, let's get right into the battle:

- Mid High Mana 35 Mana Cap
- Water, Life, Death available
Born Again,spreading FuryRulesets
Not really taking into consideration what my opponent would play I have decided to go as follow:
Summoner

Possibilus, my favourite summoner, is gaining more and more popularity throught the overall gameplay as far as it became a MUST play in certain rulesets.
Not only it provides extra tankiness +2 Health to the entire Team but also gives the most needed agression for Melee Heavy compositions Reach and most importantly Trample for an extra attack after taking down a kill.
Spoil Alert: Trample can take down a camouflage Enemy!
1st Position: My sacrifice

That smug look means that if you kill me, you are doomed! Imagine having to ge through that a couple of time :D
Putting Venari on the first position allows me to capitalize on:
- A double Martyr to the monster on the 2nd position thanks to the
Born AgainRuleset - Takes some hits off my Main Tank
2nd Position: Tank

An amazing tank! Ususally when playing possibilus, I place a Melee Tank* 99% of the time but given the Spreading Fury ruleset, there is no way I'll go past Djinn Oshannus in this situation:
-
It got 5 Speed that turns into 8 Speed when enraged
-
Adding to the Martyr double buff, we can see Oshannus speed surpass 10 Speed when Enraged
-
Phase: Even Magic attacks can't reach Oshannus in this case too! (Magic damage dealers are usually very slow => Even harder to hit their shots!
3rd Position: Damage Dealer

Not much to say about Tide biter in this context, having an innate Reach helps with his positionning in addition to Reflexion shield that negate blast damage + a potential Thorns Enemy tank while dealing a respectable amount of damage for only 3 Mana
4th Position: Rust!

The sole reason for putting Noa the Just into action is the Rust ability allowing my monsters to (most of the time) hit right through the enemy health especially when aming for a Sneak + Opportunity play and capitalize on making oppressive Trample plays!
5th & 6th Position

Another couple of damage dealers, Deeplurker with the opportunity ability + Pelacor Bandit with the Sneak ability.
It would've been better if I used the same ability on both the monsters since I want my damage to be focused on a single target but fortunately I've got the oshannus that will buy us a LOT of Time for my carries to deal damage!

Round 1 Pre buffs/Debuffs

Not really the team I was expecting the face! Astral Entity is surely a strong opponent with the Dodge and Rust
Its aim was probably to go for a Triple ressurect on its Venari Marksrat in order to buff its USUT: Let's see how this battle will unfold:
Round 1

Holyyy that Oshannus going on Hard with a steroid of 11 Health + 4 Magic Damage! Dear Enemy good luck hitting the ChadOshannus!
An interesting round indeed, Both our Venari's got killed twice with mine going down and the enemy's still alive because of Astral Ressurect.
On the other side, Wierding Warrior got eliminated (and then revived) after pelacor's attack.
Round 2

The battle on its way to climax! USUT on a Triple Martyr hitting Oshannus as hard as it can but half the damage blocked with Void
Enemy Wierding Warrior got eliminated but Deeplurker and Trample on an annoyed camouflaged Magi Necrosi leaving it with a single Health!
While Pelacor Missed its shot of a 1 Health Xenith Archer, feels good watching the same archer and Magi of Chaos Mage missing their shots on Oshannus (Evasion chance > 90%)
Round 3

USUT became enraged but Oshannus successfully dodged its Magic Bolt!
Deeplurker + Pelacor Bandit Team work finally put down Xenith Archer second life and took down one that camouflage monster but unfortunately it still got reborn!
Magi of Chaos and Tide Biter still debating on who misses the most shots :')
Round 4

Did you know that Tide biter and Magi of Chaos finally lend their shots!
Oshannus still doing rediculous damage to USUT while the latter can't hit its Magic Bolts
On the Other hand, Magi Necrosi Snipe is hurting my team from the backline but still not doing enough damage!
Round 5+6

For the sake of not making this post going for too long and the fact that the battle strongly shifted in my favor, I've combined these couple of rounds together:
-
Oshannus Fires twice on Round 5 & 6 to take down USUT
-
Again some misses from Magi of Chaos
-
Tide Biter tramples first than comes Pelacor Bandit cleans up the rest to seal of sweet Victory:

Conclusion
My strategy worked pretty well in this battle with the synergy of Martyr and Djinn Oshannus that made an insane combination in this Ruleset (Born Again + Spreading Fury)
If I want to make some changes to my team, I believe I should've replaced Tide Biter with another Monster, or place Kulu Mastermind in place of Tide Biter + Noa the Just. Unfortunately My mana cap didn't allow for such a play and it's better to have 6 Monsters on the field in this type of Ruleset.
