Greetings my dear friends in the #hive-Run community. I bring you a great write-up today and I hope you will find it amazing.

In most of my writings, I would always begin by saying that most of the events that occurred in my life are stories I must pass to everyone including the young ones to impact their lives and encourage them that they can always achieve their goals.
Running is one of the most recognized sports in the world, categorized among the field and track events. When I was a young boy, I lived with my parents alone in our hometown before moving to the city. Then, I lived a very weird but interesting life. We had a dog pet called Captain. We often take it out for a hunt and I can never forget the day we tried to catch a rabbit. We ran that day till our toes almost touched our back head. But all those struggles were to no avail. We lost it and the pitiful animal escaped Captain. I have had experiences where we had to chase after some animals during our hunt and I have also had experiences where we were being chased by more hostile animals like snakes and wild cats. All these periods taught me how to run. I developed the leg muscles of a trained athlete.

That was all for my hometown. I am very happy I didn't miss those times in my hometown because as I came to the city, I became a star. I was registered in a high school which normally organized Inter-house sports competitions. In this healthy competition, every student is grouped into different houses( Green, yellow, orange, blue and red). These five houses have different housemasters and mistresses. During this Inter-house sports competition, I saw an opportunity to showcase my developed talents in running. I represented my house in the different races and won medals and certificates of honor. I was very popular in school as girls didn't let me drink water and keep cups.

After this Inter-house sports competition, I didn't feel I had achieved my aim. I have told myself that I can't just be a local champion, I still have dreams of becoming the first man to beat Usain Bolt's record ten times. Having the goal of becoming one of the world's record breakers in mind, I often engage in regular practices, like jogging every morning for a long distance. I often use either the Actifit app or the Strava app to record my activity. To keep on developing my muscles, I also go riding bikes most time. I don't only limit myself to walking and running. Below are screenshots of my muscle-building and calorie-burning exercises from the Actifit and Strava apps respectively. The last screenshot shows my little jog this morning before leaving for school. It was a short jog though, just approximately, four thousand steps.

Before I conclude my ideas, I won't fail to share with everyone the record-breaking sneakers that have won me medals and certificates. I didn't have enough savings to afford running spikes(shoes with spikes below the front end, used by athletes) and my parents who don't at any point support me to become an athlete didn't want to get a pair for me. So I have been using these single sneakers and it has been serving me perfectly. It wouldn't be nice of me not to acknowledge the sneakers, I call them "My Golden Boot", hehe.

Running is a very nice exercise for everyone, gender doesn't matter. It has several benefits to the body. Heartbeat is improved(cardiovascular fitness) increasing the rate of blood flow in the body. Body weight is maintained due to the proper burning of calories. This is very useful to the ladies who may want to lose some body fats. Another great importance of running exercise is what I talked about in the earlier paragraphs, the growth and strengthening of muscles. Stronger bones are also achieved by engaging in regular running exercises.
I do visit the #hiverun community at times and I see some beautiful and handsome individuals who most times are dressed in uniforms bearing the Hive logo engage in running exercises, and I would feel like appearing in their midst and going on the run with them, but I can't. I feel so sad. But I know one day, I would have such a great opportunity to engage in one of the hive runs.

Thanks for reading my post to this extent. I appreciate the time and effort you have put in place to check up on my post.

This is my participation for the #juneinleo prompt of the day, day #05.
