Lately, I've been on a baking craze for Oatmeal Bars, especially because there are so many variations to this recipe and you can use different ingredients, giving each one its own unique flavor.

This recipe makes three versions, and I honestly don't know which one is my favorite. A couple of days ago, I shared some Strawberry Jam-filled Bars in my beloved vegan community that were truly finger-licking good, but since I'm running out, I quickly ran to the kitchen to make another Oatmeal Bar recipe, incorporating completely different ingredients so I could try each version.

Well, I'll tell you that these bars have a mix of ingredients that make them irresistible. Peanut Butter, Honey for a soft sweetness, and Chocolate to make them more attractive and interesting.

Do you want to give in to the chocolate temptation once again? Come on, friend, I invite you to make this fabulous recipe together.

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of rolled oats.
  • 80 grams of peanut butter.
  • 50 grams of honey.
  • 40 grams of chocolate for melting, use your favorite.
  • Raisins and crushed almonds, optional.
  • 2 tablespoons of milk or plant-based milk.
  • Mold: 22 x 14 cm.

Let's get to the preparation:

The first thing we'll always do before cooking is wash our hands thoroughly; hygiene when cooking is of the utmost importance 馃槈

Now we'll lightly toast our oats. We do this over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent the oats from burning and to ensure they cook as evenly as possible.

Then we pour the cooked oats into a container.

Next, we'll take the Peanut Butter and Honey and mix them together very well.

We're going to add this preparation to the oats.

Then, with clean, damp hands, we're going to mix these ingredients together very well.

In this step, we must be patient. We will knead this mixture until we get a compactable mixture. We will have to moisten our hands several times until we achieve the desired consistency.

Now we pour this mixture into the mold we have chosen and press it down, either with a moistened wooden spoon or with a moistened glass on the bottom. We also use our hands to help make the mixture compact and even.

Melt our chocolate. You can use the microwave or, as I did, a double boiler.

If you want a lighter chocolate, once it's melted, add two tablespoons of milk or plant-based milk and mix.

Now add the chocolate to our oatmeal mixture and spread it over the entire surface.

And finally, we add crushed nuts. I used almonds and raisins, but you can use your favorite nuts. This step is optional, but it goes wonderfully with this recipe.

Place in the freezer for approximately 30 minutes.

After that time, our snack is ready to be cut and enjoyed. 馃い This time, I cut the bars into small squares. I got 12 in total. 馃挭

脷ltimamente ando con una fiebre de hacer Barritas de Avena, sobre todo porque de esta receta hay muchas variaciones y se pueden usar ingredientes diferentes que har谩n que cada una tenga su propia personalidad.

Con esta receta ya van 3 versiones y la verdad hasta ahora no se cu谩l es mi preferida, hace un par de d铆as compart铆a en mi querida comunidad vegana unas Barritas rellenas con mermelada de Fresas que realmente estaban para chuparse los dedos, pero como ya se me est谩n terminando, corr铆 pronto a la cocina a preparar otra receta de Barritas de Avena, pero incorporando ingredientes totalmente diferentes y as铆 probar cada versi贸n.

Bueno les cuento que estas Barritas tienen una mezcla de ingredientes que las hace irresistibles, pues s铆, Mantequilla de Man铆, Miel para un dulzor suave y Chocolate para hacerlas m谩s atractivas e interesantes.

驴Quieres caer una vez m谩s en la tentaci贸n del Chocolate? ven amigo te invito a que juntos hagamos esta fabulosa receta.

Ingredientes:

  • 200 Gramos de Avena en hojuelas.
  • 80 Gramos de Mantequilla de Man铆.
  • 50 Gramos de Miel.
  • 40 Gramos de Chocolate para fundir, usa tu preferido.
  • Uvas Pasas y Almendras trituradas, opcional.
  • 2 Cucharadas de Leche o Bebida vegetal.
  • Molde: 22 por 14 cms.

Vamos con nuestra preparaci贸n:

Lo primero que haremos siempre antes de cocinar es, lavarnos muy bien las manos, la higiene al cocinar es de suma importancia 馃槈

Ahora vamos a tostar ligeramente nuestra Avena, esto lo hacemos a fuego bajo por unos 10 minutos, siempre removiendo para que no se nos queme la Avena y la cocci贸n quede lo m谩s pareja posible.

Luego echamos la Avena que hemos cocido en un recipiente.

Despu茅s vamos a tomar la Mantequilla de Man铆, la Miel y las vamos a mezclar muy bien.

Esta preparaci贸n la vamos a incorporar a la Avena.

Luego con nuestras manos muy limpias y h煤medas vamos a integrar muy bien estos ingredientes.

En este paso debemos tener paciencia, vamos a amasar esta preparaci贸n hasta que consigamos una mezcla que se pueda compactar, as铆 que nos vamos a tener que humedecer las manos varias veces hasta conseguir la consistencia deseada.

Ahora echamos esta preparaci贸n en el molde que hemos elegido y vamos a presionar puede ser con una cuchara de madera humedecida o con un vaso h煤medo en la parte de abajo, nos ayudamos tambi茅n con las manos, tratando que la mezcla nos quede bien compacta y pareja.

Derretimos nuestro Chocolate, puedes usar el microondas o como hice yo, al ba帽o de mar铆a.

Si deseas un chocolate m谩s ligero, cuando este se derrita, agrega dos cucharadas de Leche o bebida vegetal y mezcla.

Ahora agrega el Chocolate a nuestra preparaci贸n de Avena y esparce por toda la superficie.

Y por 煤ltimo le agregamos Frutos secos triturados, yo us茅 Almendras y Uvas Pasas, pero puedes usar tus frutos secos preferidos, este paso es opcional, pero le va super maravilloso a esta receta.

Metemos al congelador por 30 minutos aproximadamente.

Pasado ese tiempo ya nuestro Snack est谩 listo para cortarlo y disfrutarlo 馃い esta vez las barritas las he cortado en peque帽os cuadrados, salieron 12 en total 馃挭
