Muchas veces nos sentimos ansiosos de hacer un mont贸n de cosas para una reuni贸n pero el tiempo o el presupuesto no nos permiten hacer todo lo que por nuestra mente pasa. Eso fue lo que me sucedi贸 el lunes pasado cuando nuestra profesora de ejercicios nos invit贸 a realizar entre todas las chicas, una actividad para celebrar nuestra amistad en el grupo, esto con motivo de estar en pleno mes del amor y la amistad.
Paper flowers for Hive
Many times we feel anxious to do a lot of things for a meeting but the time or budget does not allow us to do everything that goes through our minds. That's what happened to me last Monday when our exercise teacher invited all of us girls to do an activity to celebrate our friendship in the group, in the middle of the month of love and friendship.
Yo habia tenido un fin de semana bastante ocupado con el cumplea帽os de mi hijo Fabi谩n y al llegar el lunes me dic cuenta de cuantas cosas me hubiese gustado hacer para la reuni贸n convocada por la profesora Ka铆.
La verdad es que siempre hay una motivaci贸n detr谩s de cada cosa, ya sea buena o mala, siempre algo nos motiva a querer hacer las cosas. Esta vez no fue la excepci贸n, el evento del amor y la amistad merec铆a algo especial, as铆 que con todo mi cari帽o me dispuse hacer algo que nos animara a todas a seguir creyendo en lo bonito de la amistad.
I had had a busy weekend with my son Fabian's birthday and when I arrived on Monday I realized how many things I would have liked to do for the meeting called by teacher Kai.
The truth is that there is always a motivation behind everything, whether good or bad, something always motivates us to want to do things. This time was no exception, the event of love and friendship deserved something special, so with all my love I decided to do something that would encourage us all to continue believing in the beauty of friendship.
As铆 comenz贸 la aventura, busque algunas ideas en internet, busque materiales en casa que me pudieran servir, ped铆 e apoyo de la profesora y mi amiga Noraida y entre lastres armamos con mucho amor y cari帽o este espacio decorativo donde podernos tomar una foto para el recuerdo.
Se me ocurri贸 una decoraci贸n sencilla con globos, cortinas y flores de papel, tambien quer铆a colocarle luces blancas de esas que usamos para navidad pero por el af谩n de hacer todo se me olvidaron.
As铆 que sin m谩s que contarles los invito a chequear el paso a paso de estas lindas flores de papel.

Lo primero que debo decirles es que las flores de papel son realmente hermosas y hay un mont贸n de modelos para copiar de todos tama帽os y colores, que nos sirven para decorar cualquier espacio.

The first thing I must tell you is that paper flowers are really beautiful and there are a lot of models to copy in all sizes and colors, which can be used to decorate any space.
En internet consegu铆 este modelo muy bonito que encajaba muy bien en la decoraci贸n, era f谩cil o r谩pido de hacer. Fui a la librer铆a y consegu铆 la cartulina en medio d贸lar cada una, as铆 que compre como 6 y me fui r谩pido a casa.
On the internet I got this very nice pattern that fit very well in the decoration, it was easy or quick to make. I went to the bookstore and got the cardboard for half a dollar each, so I bought about 6 and went home quickly.
Corte las hojas seg煤n el patr贸n, hice un circulo de unos 9 cent铆metros y fui pegando hojas por todo el contorno. Creo que la parte m谩s dif铆cil fue el centro de la flor porque realmente se lleva mucho material. Pero tampoco es algo que sea como para complicarse.
I cut the leaves according to the pattern, made a circle of about 9 centimeters and glued leaves all around. I think the most difficult part was the center of the flower because it really takes a lot of material. But it's not something to complicate either.
Lleg贸 la tarde y en una hora ten铆amos todo listo, en verdad que tener dos c贸mplices, mejor dicho tres, porque tambien tengo que nombrar a nuestro querido chofer Luis quien transporto todas esas cosas en su carro, pues eso me ayudo muchisimo.
Hoy en d铆a contamos con la ayuda del internet que nos da ideas para hacer en cualquier fiesta, sea el motivo que sea.
The afternoon came and in an hour we had everything ready, really having two accomplices, better to say three, because I also have to name our dear driver Luis who transported all those things in his car, because that helped me a lot.
Nowadays we have the help of the internet that gives us ideas to do in any party, whatever the reason is.
Gracias a Dios que aunque sencilla la decoraci贸n las chicas se sorprendieron y la amaron, se tomaron un mont贸n de fotos y se cumpli贸 el objetivo que fue pasar una tarde feliz. Creo que esto de las decoraciones me est谩 gustando y seguro pronto les estar茅 contando m谩s de esto y de mis aventuras conociendo el mundo de las flores de papel.
Thank God that although the decoration was simple, the girls were surprised and loved it, they took a lot of pictures and the objective was fulfilled, which was to spend a happy afternoon. I think I'm liking this decorations thing and I'm sure I'll be telling you more about it and my adventures in the world of paper flowers soon.
