Saludos amigos de Hive y de @education, hoy voy a compartir con ustedes mi participación en la Jornada del Sistena de Gestión Escolar SIGE, que se realizó en una institución educativa del municipio Zamora, estado Aragua.
Greetings to my friends at Hive and @education. Today I’m going to share with you my experience of taking part in the SIGE School Management System Conference, which was held at an educational institution in the municipality of Zamora, Aragua state.
Cabe destacar que este sistema SIGE, es El Sistema de Gestión Escolar Guacaipuro perteneciente al Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Educación, en la cual se registra los datos de los estudiantes, docentes y sus representantes de todas las escuelas de Venezuela. Es un sistema además de registro las notas de los estudiantes, el.cual permite la toma de decisiones por parte del ministerio de educación.
It should be noted that this SIGE system is the Guacaipuro School Management System, which is run by the Ministry of Popular Power for Education and is used to record data on pupils, teachers and their representatives from all schools in Venezuela. In addition to recording pupils’ marks, the system enables the Ministry of Education to make decisions.
Asimismo, en este registro, estuvieron el personal responsable de la Zona Educativa del estado Aragua y la analista del SIGE del Ministerio de Educación, el cual se encargaron de asesorar y aclarar las dudas del personal directivo del municipio Zamora. Por otro lado yo como personal CBIT, con mis compañeras, estuvimos también apoyando al personal directivo que no tiene los recursos tecnológicos en sus espacios.
Also present at this meeting were staff responsible for the Aragua State Education Zone and the SIGE analyst from the Ministry of Education, who were tasked with advising the management team of the municipality of Zamora and answering their queries. Meanwhile, as a member of the CBIT team, my colleagues and I were also providing support to management staff who do not have the necessary technological resources in their workplaces.
Por otra parte, el personal de la Zona Educativa encargada del SIGE, manifestaron que hay muchos errores en los registros de los estudiantes de preescolar, donde no se toman en cuenta la clasificación correcta de los estudiantes en los tres niveles, el.cual está afectando cuando el estudiante están en primero y segundo grado. También indicaron que no pueden haber dos docentes en una misma aula, en ese caso en sistema se registra un solo docente que tenga mayor años de servicio, de esta forma el otro docente quedaría a orden de la Zona, para ser reubicados.
Furthermore, staff at the Education Zone responsible for SIGE stated that there are many errors in the records for pre-school pupils, where the correct classification of pupils across the three levels is not taken into account, which is having an impact when pupils reach Years 1 and 2. They also pointed out that there cannot be two teachers in the same classroom; in such cases, the system records only the teacher with the most years of service, meaning the other teacher would be placed at the Education Zone’s disposal for redeployment.
Para finalizar, toda esta información debe ser socializada por el personal directivo para poder solventar todas estas situaciones que se está presentando a nivel estatal.
Finally, all this information must be communicated by senior management in order to resolve all these issues that are arising at national level.
