Saludos amigos de Hive y de @geekzone, hoy voy a compartir con ustedes la III Jornada de Recuperación de Equipo de Computación de la Súper aula perteneciente a los Centros Bolivarianos de Informática y Telemática del estado Aragua, Venezuela.
Greetings to our friends at Hive and @geekzone. Today I’m going to share with you the Third Computer Equipment Recovery Day at the ‘Super Classroom’ belonging to the Bolivarian Centres for Information Technology and Telematics in the state of Aragua, Venezuela.
Cabe destacar que el equipo de tutores CBIT, hemos realizado dos jornadas donde se lograron reactivar varios equipos de computación, que estaban inactivos. Está actividad la estamos realizando una vez a la semana para visitar los diferentes espacios tecnológicos para realizar el diagnóstico y recuperar los equipos que están inoperativos por algunas fallas que afectan su funcionamiento.
It is worth noting that the CBIT team of tutors has organised two sessions during which we have managed to get several IT systems that were inactive up and running again. We carry out this activity once a week, visiting the various IT departments to carry out diagnostics and restore systems that are not working due to faults affecting their operation.
Asimismo nos trasladamos a otra parroquia del municipio para hacer la revisión, en este caso nos correspondió la Súper Aula, que es furgón dotados de diez equipos de computación, con conexión de internet, anteriormente la empresa Cantv era la encargada del mantenimiento sin embargo el personal que labora son del ministerio de educación y ahora es Fundabit,la encargada de estos espacios.
We also travelled to another school in the municipality to carry out the inspection; in this case, we visited the ‘Súper Aula’, which is a van equipped with ten computers and an internet connection. Previously, the company Cantv was responsible for its maintenance; however, the staff working there are from the Ministry of Education, and Fundabit is now in charge of these facilities.
Por otro lado al revisar los equipos solo habían dos, uno que presentaron problemas con la tarjeta de video y otro con problemas en la fuente de poder. En vista de esto cambio la tarjeta de video utilizando el equipo que tenía dañada la fuente de poder y se solucionó el problema. Estos equipos son de la marca Vit, con sistema operativo Canaima, el cual están desactualizados y requieren una nueva redotacion.
On the other hand, upon checking the computers, there were only two: one had problems with the graphics card and the other with the power supply. In view of this, I swapped the graphics card using the computer with the faulty power supply, and this resolved the problem. These computers are Vit brand, running the Canaima operating system; they are out of date and require new hardware.
Es importante mencionar que solo cinco de los equipos encienden y los demás no porque el suministro eléctrico es a través de unos reguladores de voltaje que están dañados y el cableado está internamente conectado a estos reguladores. Por lo cual es necesario realizar una instalación de cableado con diferentes puntos de tomacorriente para poder conectar los equipos.
It is important to note that only five of the devices switch on, whilst the others do not, because the power supply passes through some voltage regulators that are faulty, and the wiring is connected internally to these regulators. It is therefore necessary to install new wiring with separate socket outlets in order to connect the devices.
Una vez finalizamos el trabajo, nuestra compañera nos recibió con un pequeño refrigerio, y pudimos conversar algunas cosas de nuestro futuro dentro de los CBIT.
Once we’d finished the work, our colleague welcomed us with some light refreshments, and we were able to discuss a few things about our future within CBIT.
