Saludos amigos de Hive y de @silverbloggers, hoy voy a compartir con ustedes un tema que es el referente a Las Cosas por las que no preocuparse, el cual es un contenido que se trató en esta comunidad, en anteriores iniciativas, la cual me llamó la atención para expresar mi experiencia.
Greetings to my friends at Hive and @silverbloggers. Today I’m going to share with you a topic entitled ‘Things Not to Worry About’, which is a subject that has been discussed in this community in previous initiatives and which caught my attention, prompting me to share my own experience.
Cabe destacar que en estos días vivimos momentos de mucha angustia y de preocupación, como lo fue el doble terremoto en nuestro país, que afectó diferentes estados de Venezuela y causando una gran cantidad de personas fallecidas y heridas, después de esto la preocupación está presente al ver en la noticias de las constantes replicas que se están presentando, a pesar de esto, el gobierno hizo un llamado al reinició de las actividades escolares pero atendiendo una cantidad menor de estudiantes.
It is worth noting that we are currently experiencing a time of great distress and concern, as was the case with the double earthquake in our country, which affected various states in Venezuela and resulted in a large number of deaths and injuries. Following this, concern remains as we see news reports of the constant aftershocks that are occurring; despite this, the government has called for schools to reopen, albeit with a reduced number of pupils.
Asimismo, no es fácil estar laborando en una institución educativa, mientras nuestros hijos se quedan solos en casa, teniendo la preocupación de que pueda suceder un temblor de la magnitud del día 24 de junio. Por otra parte, la actividades deportivas están suspendidas porque las instalaciones donde hacen las prácticas deben ser evaluadas para verificar si están actas para atender a los muchachos, igualmente en las escuelas deben ser evaluadas para una mayor seguridad en la atención de los estudiantes y deportistas.
Furthermore, it is not easy to be working in an educational institution whilst our children are left alone at home, worrying that an earthquake on the scale of the one on 24 June might occur. Furthermore, sporting activities have been suspended because the facilities where training takes place need to be assessed to check whether they are fit to accommodate the children; similarly, schools must be assessed to ensure greater safety for pupils and sports participants.
Después de lo sucedido el 24 de junio, el mismo día mi hijo sintió mucho miedo, para dormir se acostó con mi esposa y yo, como para sentirse protegido. No es fácil no sentír preocupación, al ver la situación que se presentó en los estados afectados y ver en las redes sociales los vídeos de las personas en los rescates por parte de los rescatistas de nuestro país y de otras naciones.
After what happened on 24 June, on that very day my son was very frightened, so he went to bed with my wife and me, as if to feel protected. It is not easy not to feel concerned when you see the situation that unfolded in the affected states and watch the videos on social media of people being rescued by emergency services from our country and other nations.
Por otro lado, considero que no debemos preocuparnos por obtener cosas materiales, más bien debemos preocuparnos por estar con nuestros hijos, esposa, familiares y amigos, y disfrutar todo los momentos especiales porque no sabemos en qué momento nos toca partir de este plano terrenal. También si están en nuestras posibilidades de ayudar a la persona que en algún momento lo necesita, sin ningún interés, para de esta forma ser empáticos y sentirnos bien con nosotros mismos.
On the other hand, I believe that we should not worry about acquiring material possessions; rather, we should focus on spending time with our children, spouse, family and friends, and savouring every special moment, because we do not know when our time on this earth will come to an end. We should also, if we are able, help anyone in need, without expecting anything in return, so that we can show empathy and feel good about ourselves.
Para finalizar, pude ver una información de una familia, que vivía en uno de los apartamentos, resulta que la abuela era la que estaba con los nietos, y su madre estaba fuera del país trabajando para darle todo a sus hijos, pero todos fallecieron en la tragedia. Es triste esta noticia, su madre los dejó, pero no estuvo para disfrutar con sus hijos y con su madre. Es mejor comerse las verdes con la familia todos juntos que estar separados y no estar en los momentos especiales para compartir en familia.
Finally, I came across a report about a family who lived in one of the flats; it turned out that the grandmother was the one looking after the grandchildren, whilst their mother was abroad working to provide for her children, but they all died in the tragedy. This is sad news; their mother left them, but she wasn’t there to enjoy time with her children and her mother. It’s better to have your ups and downs as a family, all together, than to be apart and miss out on those special moments to share as a family.
