Greetings to my friends on Hive and @weekendexperiences. Today I’m going to take part in the initiative proposed by @galenkp, in which he presents us with a number of topics from which to choose one, so that I can share my experience and also find out what others on Hive think.

It is worth noting that the topic that caught my attention is that of ‘The Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow’. I was unfamiliar with this legend, which, according to my research, is an Irish legend that tells of a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but one that is guarded by a leprechaun. This legend contains a reflection on the human condition: in life, we seek certain things we desire in order to achieve our goals and find happiness.

Furthermore, we live in a very stressful world; for example, we want to have a lot of money in order to be happy, so we work hard for more than eight hours a day, neglecting our children and our spouse and devoting more time to making money, and it turns out that by the time we realise it, we have missed out on the most beautiful and special things in life: spending time with our family and our children, which is the source of our happiness.

On the other hand, we sometimes think that money is everything in life, but it turns out that it isn’t. Money is necessary to meet our needs for food, healthcare and leisure, amongst other things, but if we say that it brings happiness, we are mistaken, because if we have a lot of money, we worry that we might be robbed, or we have to travel with bodyguards to protect us from criminals.

To conclude, I believe that at the end of the rainbow lie those special moments we share with the people we love – our children, our wife, our family and friends in general – all those experiences that we carry in our hearts and which are worth far more than any amount of money.

Espero que les haya gustado, nos vemos en una próxima publicación.

I hope you liked it, see you in a next post.
