Saludos amigos de Hive y de @catarsis, hoy voy a compartir con ustedes la situación que estamos viviendo en nuestro país, una tragedia que ha causado graves daños y fallecimiento incontables que están enlutando a toda Venezuela.
Greetings to our friends at Hive and @catarsis. Today I’m going to share with you the situation we’re currently facing in our country – a tragedy that has caused severe damage and countless deaths, plunging the whole of Venezuela into mourning.
Cabe destacar que estos dos fuertes temblores ocurrieron el día miércoles 24 de junio, sorprendiendo a muchas personas en este día feriado, yo me encontraba en casa, sentado en la cocina, descansando después de mi entrenamiento de caminata, cuando de pronto sentí que el mueble donde estaba sentado se empezó a mover bruscamente, inmediatamente le dije a mi esposa que estaba temblando, caminamos con mis hijos y sobrinas hacia el marco de la puerta principal, muy asustado y deseando que el temblor se terminará.
It is worth noting that these two strong tremors occurred on Wednesday 24 June, taking many people by surprise on this public holiday; I was at home, sitting in the kitchen, resting after my walking training, when suddenly I felt the furniture I was sitting on start to shake violently. I immediately told my wife that the ground was shaking, and we walked with my children and nieces towards the front door frame, very frightened and hoping the tremor would end.
Después de este fuerte susto, me comunique con mi familia para ver como estaban, gracias a Dios todos bien. Pero en el municipio Mariño, del estado Aragua, un edificio se desplomó completamente, quedando muchas personas bajos los escombros. Igualmente en diferentes estado, como La Guaira, Caracas es impresionante las fotografías y videos en la redes sociales de los graves daños ocasionados por este terremoto.
After this terrible scare, I got in touch with my family to see how they were; thank God, everyone was fine. However, in the municipality of Mariño, in Aragua state, a building collapsed completely, leaving many people trapped under the rubble. Similarly, in various states, such as La Guaira and Caracas, the photographs and videos circulating on social media showing the severe damage caused by this earthquake are truly shocking.
Hoy viernes 26, se sintió un temblor en Maracay, todavía se siente la replicas el cual no han terminado, es una situación angustiante, mi hijo de doce años estuvo muy asustado, con mucho miedo al sentir este fuerte temblor, me manifestó que no iba a dormir porque podría temblar de nuevo, gracias a Dios no hemos sentido los temblores donde vivimos, pero estamos alerta ante la situación.
Today, Friday the 26th, an earthquake was felt in Maracay; the aftershocks are still being felt and have not yet stopped. It is a distressing situation; my twelve-year-old son was very frightened when he felt this strong tremor, and told me he wasn’t going to sleep because it might shake again. Thank God we haven’t felt any tremors where we live, but we are keeping a close eye on the situation.
Es impresionantes ver como la persona se han movido para brindar la ayuda a través de ropas, comida, medicina, en casa de mi madre, mi sobrina armó un equipo de jóvenes para recibir las ayudas para ser trasladada hacia Turmero y también a La Guaira para aportar un granito de arena para de esta forma ayudar a todas las personas que están en esta emergencia.
It is impressive to see how people have come together to provide aid in the form of clothes, food and medicine. At my mother’s house, my niece organised a group of young people to collect the aid so that it could be transported to Turmero and also to La Guaira, to do their bit to help all those affected by this emergency.
Por otro lado, también hay otros que se aprovechan de la situación para saquear a los comercios, robar en las casas que están abandonadas y también publicar noticias falsas de edificaciones que están derrumbadas, como sucedió en el municipio donde vivo, a esta persona más tarde le va llegar la justicia. Solo deseo que se continúen rescatando a las personas y que Dios nos cuide a todos y nos cubra con su manto, para que aleje
On the other hand, there are also others who are taking advantage of the situation to loot shops, break into abandoned houses and spread fake news about collapsed buildings, as happened in the municipality where I live; justice will eventually catch up with this person. I just hope that people continue to be rescued and that God watches over us all and shields us with his mantle, so that he may ward off
