Social networks are undoubtedly a technology that has facilitated communication between people from anywhere in the world, allowing us to connect and share information on a personal and professional level in our daily lives. Social networks are a great learning tool that have facilitated access to new ways of learning and also to teach others through a distance modality.
It should be noted that social networks have become a tool for entrepreneurs to be able to offer their products and promote them, from a distance, being a source of income for all these people. On the other hand, it is an excellent tool to establish people's interaction, breaking the barrier of distance to stay connected.
All these aspects mentioned above are advantages, however there are also disadvantages regarding the use of these social networks for children, who are exposed to many dangers due to excessive information that is not appropriate to their age, and also against malicious people who They want to cause harm to children by posing as another child with fake profiles. These networks must be supervised and controlled by the parents of these children who access these tools and not leave them alone with the phones exposed to many dangers.
On the other hand, adults and adolescents should also moderate their use because this can cause addiction in the management of these social networks, producing anxiety and stress. Before sharing all the information that is on these networks, we have to see its veracity in order to cause harm to other people.
Currently, social networks in my country, Venezuela, have been a crucial element of communication due to the blockages that some have suffered from the government, violating freedom of information. Likewise, the information must be verified to know if it is real or invented by other people who are responsible for distorting the information.
Due to all this censorship, it is necessary to use web 3.0 social networks, through the Hive blockchain in order to avoid the censorship that is seen in web 2.0 social networks and be able to see the information without any type of censorship and express what we feel according to the situation in our country and also know the truth that is currently being experienced.
Finally, it is necessary to highlight that social networks are good but for children they have to be supervised by their parents or representatives and for adults, before sharing information we must verify its veracity, because in my country there is a law where We may be penalized for this.
