We all desist the lie, when it comes to finding out someone has lied to us, it makes us mad, it brings hate but then, can we also tell the truth always, can we also accept the fact that we will always speak nothing but the truth. To justify our lie sometimes we say it's a "white lie" why are the reason for making a white lie? There are many circumstances that one will want to say a white lie , it applies in some instances;
I do not want to hurt others:people make white lies because they do not want to hurt someone feelings,when a person who is fat, that knows he's fat ask me if she is fat? I no her, I know what she wanted to hear, she herself has told herself a lie about herself and she wanted to hear that same comment, so I say she isn't fat ,so that I don't hurt her feelings. But then, I'm actually hurting myself because I know I'm not being honest and i'm as well hurting her because I'm not being honest about how and what I feel about her.
It can also be that one wants to avoid consequences: just like lying in your CV so that you can get the job or lying about being late to work ,so that you won't get sack. So, lies like this are white lies ,and it is said for a greater height to move forward, to go high.
Trust me , nothing beats telling the truth,the truth is always the best to say. Speaking the truth takes you on an adventure, bad or good adventure ,it's always better than regret. Saying the truth is the best happiness you can give your heart, your heart will be free from guilt.
I do not say there are no circumstances that will make you lie, saying the truth also has some exceptions but you must be very careful with that exceptions,you must look at the benefits side very well,bcos remember the peace in your heart is on the line.
