Things keeps getting hard for many even with the effort we put in to be comfortable, from one responsibility to another. If you could get rid of one chore or responsibility you have now, which would you choose? Why
Honestly things are very difficult in Nigeria today. The issue of high cost of living is alarming. I can't imagine 5 cup's of garry for a thousand Naira. NGN:1,000. How can a family of 4 manage this situation? Many people has slimed down due to hunger. Some are sick due to lack of good food. Now, you don't just live your house without planning it well due to transportation. Many are dying because of food. Hmmm, what if you are to be the bread winner of the family? The pressure of getting what your family with eat will be much on you not so? Though some who have enough are not feeling it but most people are feeling the pressure of hardship today.I have many responsibilities on my head which if i didn't do them, no one do it for me which includes, paying house rent, school fees, utilities bills, hospital bills and also the bread winner. All these things that i just mentioned is not an easy task. But if i should get rid of one, if will be get rid of a family bread winner..
I will get rid of being a family bread winner.
You might wonder why i chose it over other's right? Here is my reasons. School fees is just 3 times in a year, house rent is just once in a year, utilities are not done everyday, hospital bills is only when someone is sick . But we can't skip a day without food and, if we should do, we might likely fall sick, gets weak the next day or develop aulcer. That means, feeding consumes money more than any other bills. Remember, is not one pattern of food. You will buy varieties of foods on daily basis including fruits.Because of feeding, i hardly save. Sometimes i would have no other options than to use some of my savings to feed the family when their is no food at home. I can't save when their is huger at home because if the hunger should lead to sickness, i will still spend the money.The pressure of feeding the family is too much on me. Sometimes it drags me crazy hahaha. Because foodstuffs are very costly in the market. When you think you have a huge amount of money with you, just enter market, it will buy only few things for you. Within some days, the food will finish amounting more pressure on me.I might find it difficult to save for the future if i should continue to be the families bread winner, they pressure is much on me due to high cost of living, am working without having enough rest because i want to meet up with family needs. Bread winner is made for men not women, so carrying this responsibility that is not mine is making me sick hehe. So, if i should get rid of being the bread winner, i will do that immediately.
