Charitable giving is a normal part of my budget. It is not always cash donations but it can be other resources like your time and talents as well. Name your favorite Charity and what makes it special to you?
Charity can be displayed in so many ways because it's an act of giving. Though some finds it difficult to be charitable in some parts of the world due to the weakness involved after being kind to poeple. I personally displays charity or giving in three different ways and they are my favorite ways of showing charity and I will tell you why is so special to me. Now let's take it one after the other.
Sharing what I have with others- This is my first special way of showing charity because I don't actually have enough money to give out. Instead, I can share what I have with you. I don't actually allow someone close to me to ask me for help before I can show him charity instead, once I noticed that the person is in need of what I have, I will personally give it out to him or her being it clothes, food, water, shelter, etc.
My time:- This is my second way of displaying charity. When someone is in need, frustrated, sick or lost a loved one in death, at that moment, what he/she needs is attention, a shoulder to cry on not money. I do make myself available to assist or give a listing ear to such one in other to comfort them. A sick patient needs someone to wash his clothes and attend chores for him or. In a situations like this, I am always available.Besides all these, a new hiver needs someone to guide him or her. It requires time to do so and it's act of being charitable. I do sacrifice my time too to guide these new ones.
A little financial assistance- Due to my level of income, I do give out a little financial assistance for sometimes. It might be for transportation or for recharge cards.
What makes them so special to me
With these ways of being charitable to poeple, I have build relationships, trust and love from poeple. More especially, immediate family members and my friends. Because of that, once am in need I always have poeple to check on me. Remember, one good turns deserves another they say. It's really happening on my side. Because of the relationship and love that I have build from helping poeple, the appreciative hearted ones do assist me when am in need. So because of this, this my ways of showing charity to poeple is so special and will remain special to me.
