Good evening to all my respected readers and followers. I hope you are all well and having a productive week. Once again, I'm taking this opportunity to share some new content highlighting some of my daily activities related to my work: an informative talk about respect and empathy towards people with disabilities.
Yesterday morning, Tuesday, while I was at the school fulfilling my teaching duties in support of my third-grade colleague who was unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, I was visited by a regional organization. Their purpose was to give the students a reflective talk about the importance of respect and empathy towards people with disabilities.
Two of the people giving the talk are people with disabilities themselves, one visually impaired and the other hearing impaired. This information really captured the children's attention, especially since these individuals, despite their physical limitations, are also included in the workplace and are given the opportunity to be fully integrated into society. They also taught the children some words through sign language and how to use a cane for people with visual impairments.
Thank you for joining me here and see you another time.
Thanks for reading me and your valuable support.
