Good day, amazing people of the Hive blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another beautiful week. #ladiesofhive topic: Did someone support you during your hardest time? How did they help? #291

Life is not a bed of roses; there will be a time we see the hardest moments in our lives. At our lowest, we may not find anyone who will support us. Most times, the support comes from our parents, who will sacrifice everything they have to give you comfort; a friend, who will give you a listening ear and encouragement; or a sibling, who will not judge you and will strengthen you, reminding you why you must not give up.

During the hardest period of life, a little act of gesture can mean a lot: calling to check up on the person, being present during difficult moments, or being a shoulder to lean on. You can also render some financial support. This act means that there is someone out there who is willing to help us in difficult moments.

This particular prompt just reminded me the year 2022 went through a very challenging period after I lost my dad; it was as if the world were coming to an end. At the moment, I need support and help from people who drifted away from me. It was only two of my friends that remained constant in helping run my dad's burial because at that moment there was no money in my hands; they supported me financially and encouraged me, and they always reminded me countless times never to give up. They were the shoulder I could lean on. Support really means a lot; it may not be cash, but the little act of gesture means a lot. My two friends gave me hope when I was losing.

I have gotten to understand that getting support during hard times is very important, and there is this feeling you will get within yourself. People who stood by us during the darkest time of our lives leave a lasting impact on our lives. For someone like me, I don’t forget people who support me when I am in the darkest moment of my life. After receiving support from my two friends, it has really inspired me to extend the same kind gesture to people who are facing some challenges in life that need support.

True strength is not only about enduring hardship alone. True strength comes from accepting help and appreciating those who sacrifice for you to be comfortable. The fact about life is people who stand with us in difficult moments are people we will forever treasure and cherish. We don’t treasure or cherish them just because they made our lives beautiful or so easy, but just because they helped us in dark moments of our lives and never left our side.

This is my entry on the ongoing weekly prompt. #ladiesofhive topic Did someone support you during your hardest time? How did they help? #291
