Every individual has a moral standard. What makes someone a moral person is often the way the person is raised. What the belief in, the culture the grew up with, and the experience the had when growing up I have gotten to understand that this week's prompt doesn't have a definite answer because morality is shaped by different influences and two people can't have the exact same pattern or morality.

For the majority of us, our moral foundation starts from home. Our parents, guardians, and so on are the first people that teach us the difference between the good and the bad. I can remember back then my parents teaching me the importance of telling the truth all the time, respecting my elders, and taking responsibility for all my actions. My parents built my foundation; I call them my building blocks of my character. Growing up, I have come to realize that not everyone is raised the same way I was raised by my parents. I have visited some homes; some values that my family takes so seriously are not important to another family.
Culture is defined as people's way of life, which is our culture. It plays a vital role in our lives; it helps in shaping our morals. It influences what we believe in and how we greet, interact, and communicate with people. Culture helps us to have a sense of belonging. It can also help us to think deeply as we go places, seeing other people's cultures, which exposes us to new ideas. It helps us to appreciate other people's cultures. Some people's help to build their morals is their culture; that is why I said earlier our part can't be the same.
Religion has played a vital role when it comes to morals. The majority of faiths encourage values such as sincerity, honesty, forgiveness, compassion, and so on. People are of the opinion that religious teaching helps us to live a meaningful life.

You see, personal experience is the strongest way one can learn morals because life has a way of teaching us lessons we can't learn by reading or in a classroom. Some experiences shape us. Life is not perfect; we learn lessons and also build from it. When we experience kindness from people, it always inspires us to be kinder to people around us. You see, personal experience has really helped me to build myself into who I am. I can handle any life challenge that comes my way, no matter how hard it may be.
When it comes to freedom, the point I stated above affects the way we understand our freedom. To be free is the ability to make my own choice without anyone's interference, but the truth about freedom is not doing things you like but rather respecting the rights and well-being of people around us. For a society to function well, citizens must have to balance freedom and mutual respect.
The truth is everyone will never have the same morals; we all come from different backgrounds, life experiences, and beliefs. Listening to others doesn't mean you will abandon your principles and beliefs; rather, it will help us understand how people see the world. One thing about factors is that they can never be determined by a single factor. Morals shape our upbringing, beliefs, and experience. Our morals reflect on our daily lives; it is how we relate to and treat people around us. Morals may look simple, but they are not. Morality is more than claiming to be a good person; it is striving to do the right thing even when it seems difficult. One thing I have come to understand is that everyone has the privilege to reflect on their values and learn from experience and still grow and contribute values to the lives of others.
