Good day, amazing people of the Hive blockchain! Welcome back to my blog is another edition in the #ladiesofhive community topic. As a woman, do you consider solo travel a way “ME TIME” and self-care?

If there is something I love so much is travelling. Travelling is not about living from your state to another state or living from your country to another; travelling is beyond that for me. Whenever I travelled, I saw it as an adventure, me time and self-care.
I started a solo journey after my college; I will travel and explore without a friend or a family member. Most times, whenever I feel like I need space or I want to clear my mind, I will embark on a solo journey. Seeing the nature while travelling helps me heal.
I don’t know if I am the only one that always feels this connection whenever I am travelling. Most people see solo travelling as boring because there is nobody they can chat with while travelling, but I see it as the best travel; it allows me to reflect on myself and connect to myself. Whenever I travel, I have the whole time to think about myself and things I have been able to achieve. Travelling to someone you have not been before without a friend or family is not easy; it can only take a courageous mind to do so.

My parent made me take full responsibility for my life at a tender age, making decisions and living my life without them restricting me from travelling alone. There was a time I asked my parents why they allowed me to travel alone; their response was that they will not always be there for me. I should be able to learn that life is not a bed of roses and that travelling alone will make me see life from different perspectives.
I started solo travelling at a tender age; this has ready made me boost my confidence and strength; it has linked me up to people who have really helped me in life. I have been able to discover for myself things I enjoy doing, things that inspire and motivate me. I was able to step into the world at a tender age; it helps me understand the world better, my weakness and my strength. Solo travel has really helped me look at life from different angles; it has really helped me stand up to challenges and overcome them all.
I can’t talk about my personal growth without mentioning solo travel; it has really made me independent and confident in myself. I have built an image when I look at myself am so happy with what I have become. It really helps me to adapt to life; I get to understand that peace of mind is the best.

There is more to solo travelling; for me, it is a me time. For me, learning to navigate life solo is more than exploration; it helps me discover my inner self.
