I don’t know why I kind of find it hard to answer this question. I believe that the two lifestyles are unique, and they have their advantages and challenges as well. I keep telling people to do things that make them happy. If being single gives you peace of mind, go ahead and do that, and if being in a relationship gives you peace of mind, go ahead and do that.
I don’t see anything bad in being single; there is this level of freedom that it gives you. You have control over your time, your goals, decisions, and so on. The beautiful part is there is no need to compromise. You are the CEO of yourself; nobody controls you. If you ever want to build your future and career, it is when you are single. There is this peace of mind that comes with being single. A relationship is sweet, but it comes with a whole lot of emotional stress, heartbreak, mental stress, and so on. But a single person doesn't face the dreams that come with relationships; they avoid these challenges and enjoy a simple lifestyle. I will always tell people there is nothing wrong with finding happiness in our company.

On the other side, relationships are wonderful. One thing about humans is we are social beings, and we are happy sharing life with someone we trust, love, and care about. To be sincere, if you are so lucky and you find yourself in a healthy relationship, it can help provide emotional support during hard times and support and encourage you to push your goals.
Here comes the sweetest part of a relationship: being with someone who understands you, who truly knows that you are not perfect. It is amazing to know that someone is there for you. Good relationships are built on trust, care, love, and communication. A relationship is sweet when you are with someone that cherishes and respects you; believe me, you will never regret it, as each person can bring joy into your life on a daily basis.
In as much as it is a beautiful thing to be in a relationship, it should also not be the only source of our happiness. We are living in a society that creates the impression that everyone must find a partner to live a complete life. Our happiness should not be built on anything. Some people thrive in relationships; there are some that enjoy being single.
Here comes my answer: I will go for a healthy relationship over being single. It is not that there is anything wrong with being single, but meaningful companionship helps to enrich life. Instead of being in a toxic relationship, it is better to be single; either way, peace of mind.
The real question isn’t whether being in a relationship or being single, the important thing is whether your choice gives you peace of mind; if it contributes to your growth in all you do in life, the best option is to prioritize whatever that is that gives you peace of mind. My mom will always tell me that a fulfilled life is not measured by single status or relationship status. What matters is living a life that feels meaningful to you.
