It all starts with a massive attack of parasites that invade the earth in search of human colonization, for that they must invade people's bodies and eat their brains, that way they can take total control of the individual and usurp their identity. Our protagonist? A high school student who lives a completely normal life, but one night everything changes when he is attacked by one of these parasites who, seeing him vulnerable, tries to enter his body, and in the middle of a strong struggle manages to enter through his right hand.
Can you imagine the situation? There are moments where "x" animal gives us a scare but imagine one that wants to enter your body, how would you respond, it would certainly be a chilling situation, but that's not all, the strangest thing would be that the next day a part of your body began to talk to you, we know that this is not and will not be possible in reality but in our series in question is what happens next. Shinichi, as our protagonist is called, begins to feel strange things in his right hand and to experience an over strength until it begins to talk to him.
Quizás puedas ser una persona a quien no le gusta el anime, eso puedo entenderlo, sin embargo muchos animes contienen historias tan profundas que muchas veces son mejores que series hechas por personas reales. “Parasyte” es una de ellas, contiene una trama muy interesante que vale la pena disfrutarla sin importar que seas fan del anime o no, tiene una historia muy desarrollada que contiene acción, dramas, y algunos toques filosóficos sobre el origen de las cosas, el castigo y mucho más.
Todo comienza con un ataque masivo de parásitos que invaden la tierra en busca de la colonización humana, para eso deben invadir los cuerpos de las personas y comerse sus cerebros, de esa forma podrán tomar control total del individuo y usurpar su identidad. ¿Nuestro protagonista? Un joven de secundaria que vive una vida completamente normal, pero una noche todo cambia cuando es atacado por uno de estos parásitos quien al verlo vulnerable trato de ingresar a su cuerpo, y en medio de un fuerte forcejeo logro entrar a través de su mano derecha.
Te imaginas la situación? Hay momentos donde “x” animal nos da un susto pero imagina uno que quiera entrar a tu cuerpo, ¿Cómo responderías?, sería sin duda una situación escalofriante, pero eso no es todo, lo más extraño seria que al día siguiente una parte de tu cuerpo comenzara a hablarte, sabemos que esto no es ni será posible en la realidad pero en nuestra serie en cuestión es lo que sucede luego. Shinichi, como se llama nuestro protagonista comienza a sentir cosas raras en su mano derecha y a experimentar una sobre fuerza hasta que esta comienza a hablarle.
From then on there are several episodes that have comic situations, but later on we are shown the core of the story and that's where everything makes sense. The parasites that enter the human body do not know anything about people, they only want to survive and based on that they take cannibalistic behaviors to feed themselves, which depletes the population until the authorities realize and begin to do everything possible to get rid of these invaders.
In this process there are many dramatic situations that happen to our protagonist, the parasite that invaded his body was neutralized in his hand and could not reach the brain so he did not need to fall into cannibalism because it feeds on the nutrients that go through the blood of its host.
That makes Shinichi becomes an enemy of the rest of the parasites and is involved in situations he had never imagined, even witnessing the loss of loved ones and many others who became victims of the parasites. This is the main context of the story, although many things happen which I have not described in this post.
A partir de ese entonces hay varios episodios que tienen situaciones cómicas, pero más adelante se nos muestra el centro de la historia y allí es donde todo cobra sentido. Los parásitos que ingresan al cuerpo humano no saben nada de las personas, solo quieren sobrevivir y en base a eso toman comportamientos caníbales para alimentarse, lo cual va mermando la población hasta que las autoridades se percatan y comienzan a hacer todo lo posible para librarse de estos invasores.
En ese proceso hay muchas situaciones dramáticas que le suceden a nuestro protagonista, el parasito que invadió su cuerpo fue neutralizado en su mano y no pudo llegar al cerebro por lo que no necesito caer en el canibalismo pues se alimenta de los nutrientes que van por la sangre de su huésped.
Eso hace que Shinichi se convierta en enemigo del resto de los parásitos y se vea involucrado en situaciones que jamás se había imaginado, incluso presencie la perdida de seres amados y muchos otros que se convirtieron en víctima de los parásitos. Este es el contexto principal de la historia, aunque muchas cosas ocurren las cuales no he descrito en este post.
I hesitated a lot to watch it because it didn't call my attention that much, although it intrigued me a little, but once I spent time with it I regretted not having watched it much earlier. The series has only 24 chapters, at least in the anime and is not continued, that's good because the story has a beginning and an end so to speak, you can continue and you can also leave it where it left off. It is a short series and in two or three days you can watch the whole thing.
Beyond the fantasy of the parasites and the life they have, the author wants to make us think about the actions of humanity, so much so that he tries to make us think by the behavior of some characters if we humans are the monsters or are the parasites that only seek to survive. It is a criticism of humanity, especially the lack of morals and how people do not hesitate to take the life of another human for unjustified reasons and in others for no reason at all.
I think that this type of anime is very reflective, it is not so much the fantasy that comes with it but the elaborate story. For that reason I never stop watching this kind of productions because there are gems that you can enjoy a lot. Parasyte is one of them, so I recommend you to take the time to watch it, you will be surprised how much it can hook you and how much you can like it.
Dude mucho en verla porque no me llamaba tanto la atención, aunque me intrigaba un poco, pero una vez le dedique tiempo me arrepentí de no haberla visto mucho antes. La serie tiene 24 capítulos solamente, por lo menos en el anime y no queda continuada, eso es bueno porque la historia tiene un principio y un final por decirlo de alguna manera, se puede continuar y también se puede dejar donde quedo. Es una serie corta y en dos o tres días se puede ver completa.
Más allá de lo fantasioso de los parásitos y la vida que tienen, el autor de la misma nos quiere hacer pensar en las acciones de la humanidad, tanto así que trata de hacernos pensar por el comportamiento de algunos personajes si nosotros los humanos somos los monstruos o lo son los parásitos que solo buscan sobrevivir. Es una crítica a la humanidad, sobre todo a la falta de moral y como las personas no vacilan en quitarle la vida a otro humano por razones injustificadas y en otras sin ningún tipo de razón.
Pienso que este tipo de animes son muy reflexivos, no es tanto la fantasía que conlleva sino la trabajada historia. Por ese motivo no dejo de ver este tipo de producciones porque hay joyas que se pueden disfrutar sobremanera. Parasyte es una de ellas, así que te recomiendo que te tomes el tiempo para verla, te sorprenderás de lo mucho que te puede enganchar y lo mucho que te puede llegar a gustar.
