The new Ranked System will be updated soon and there will be some important news for all Splinterlands players. The most important, in my opinion, is the elimination of the choice of being able to remain within a league even if one continues to accumulate points, thus somehow blocking the weaker players who especially during the last days of the season they manage to advance in the league.

An example concerns me closely: currently I finish every season in the Diamond III league and for a hundred points I never manage to surpass it, going to the Champions I league. Until a few months ago, in reality, I managed to appear in the Champions league but probably , in recent times, some more powerful players have decided to stop in the previous league to grab the Leadboard prizes! Obviously, with the new update, the classic Leaderboards will also be removed, a logical consequence of the elimination of league-related limits!

Therefore, the new Ranked System will revolutionize the game strategy of many players a bit, therefore it will improve the final positions of many users at the end of the season. Another important update will concern the player selection system which will be refined so that challengers have an equal level of power. In fact, it is still not unusual to find much more powerful opponents, whose outcome of the battle is often one-sided. Now there will be healthier competition, each battle will be more balanced and this confirms the importance of having enhanced cards.

Currently it is still possible to implement decks of cards with targeted purchases, especially the Chaos Legion set still represents a good possibility for those who want to invest a little in the Splinterlands game. The burning card event is also approaching which will eliminate many excess cards from circulation, the result of which will inevitably be an increase in the prices of even those cards which are currently so cheap because they are printed in hundreds of thousands of copies.

This could be the last good opportunity to buy cards at $0.01.
