There are many discussions going on about Splinterlands, all aimed at improving the game's economy, particularly assets. I was struck by the discussion regarding the possibility of banning the sale of parcels in the secondary market, in order to discourage purchases from the official channel. The topic of parcel tokenization deserves attention because, as we saw with Chaos Legion, placing parcels! CL has definitely devalued these and today the purchase price on Hive Engine is decidedly far from the average cost of 4000 $DEC, an amount very close to 4 dollars thanks to an increasing value of the token.

At the moment however, the devaluation of parcels on Hive Engine only occurred for CL parcels, Riftwatchers kept the price constant although lower than the original one, the burning process certainly prevented the parcels from being available for a long time. Furthermore, the bear market has not stimulated purchases and the card airdrop system evidently no longer pushes users to purchase packs in abundance.

From here, to improve the economy of the game, I think it might be useful to avoid making the packs available on Hive Engine if the set is still available on Splinterlands. In my opinion, this should push players to purchase full-price packages more consistently and regularly, benefiting the team and the DAO.

Only at the end of the sale of the set, the packages would also be available for sale on the secondary market. Obviously, those who purchase parcels from the secondary market today no longer get the direct benefits, they are not eligible for airdrop cards. Furthermore, Conflict, the new eligibility system which consists of filling the carriages with 5 cards (possibly upgraded to the maximum) and up to 100 packages per carriage to obtain a high score, has also recently been implemented.

The system could therefore change further and avoid making the packs already available on the secondary market, while the set is still on sale on the Splinterlands website, it's an idea that I like.

Good game
