Splinterlands is an online collectible card game using the blockchain technology. Every user will need cards to play the game, these cards or assets are NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) which can be traded. These cards is used to play against other players. Now every card will have the unique ability and they are divided between Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The more the ability, the more it can help you to win the games and the more expensive it becomes.
From this season we have to purchase Wild Pass to play the games under Wild Format. The price of the Wild Pass can be purchased using the Vouchers, Dec or Credits. But when we purchase using the vouchers it is only available at $0.9 whereas for the Credits and Dec it is at $2. So yeah when you purchase using the vouchers it is less than Credits and Dec. The Wild Pass expires at the end of the season so that means if you have to play the wild season you have to purchase the Wild Pass for every season. So I have decided to play in the Modern Format and not in the Wild Format.
After a week, I am still at the Bronze 2, whereas when I used to play in the Wild I used to reach Diamon 3. So yeah it's tough for me to play the Modern format mostly because the good cards which I have is mainly of Wild Format. I have some of the good cards as well as the summoners which was helping me to win most of the games. The problem is now I don't have any element of surprise now. I have almost all the cards just like every other player and thus winning most of the games is not happening. I know it's just a starting and might be I will need couple of seasons to go beyond silver or gold.
But now I am having a second thought thar did I made mistake on not going to the Wild Pass. I will wait for this season to end and then might be I will play both the Format and try to improve my Modern format along with that getting more Glint rewards from the Wild card. In this way I will get new cards and improve my Modern deck hopefully. It's still 6 days remaining for this season and hopefully I will get to the Silver 3. My target is to get to the Silver in this season and the gold season next season and if I can get to that I will be happy.
So it might be a mistake for me but since I have done the mistake it's time to play and win as much as I can so that I can rectify thar. I have to think outside the box and come up with some lineup which can help me win most of the matches in the modern format.
