I have applied in the Bajaj Housing finance in the shareholder quota and got 1 lot out of 13 lot. In one of my previous post I have mentioned about this IPO and asked everyone to apply for it because of a good company and might be a future multibagger.

As of writing, the GMP is around 110% that means I might get my money doubled. So I have applied from 2 accounts, one account only retail whereas another account as a shareholder quota. I have not got the allotment in retail quota but I got it in Share Holder quota. The share Holder quota was subscribed around 18 times that means my 13 lot has given me better chance of allotment like above 80% chance whereas the retail quota was subscribed by 7 times that means the odd was less than 15% for retail.

So I think having the share Holder quota and applying through it gives better chance of allotment for good company. And thats why having atleast 1 share of the parent company before DHRP makes you eligible for the Share Holder quota. Now my strategy for most of the IPO is been taking profit the first day.

But I feel I will keep this stock for longer duration. This share is like a portfolio stock as of now because see the housing market for India is increasing rapidly and thus the loans company will make a lot of profit from it. And most of the money flows from stock market to real estate and thus the real estate will continue going up and thus the finance companies.

I actually do not have any finance housing company in my portolfio so thinking if keeping it. But again I am still not sure if I will keep the whole lot or just take the investment out and keep the profit. That I still have to decide.
