Splinterlands is an online collectible card game using the blockchain technology. Every user will need cards to play the game, these cards or assets are NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) which can be traded. These cards is used to play against other players. Now every card will have the unique ability and they are divided between Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The more the ability, the more it can help you to win the games and the more expensive it becomes.
As a small player we want to win more and more games so that we can earn more rewards and might be get some great cards. I know everyone of us who is playing want to big, but mostly the smaller players wanted to win to get to the top. And by winning we will get more Glint rewards and then we can get some good cards from there and the cycle repeats.
Now the problem is winning needs some good cards and if you don't have then you have to rely on the cards which you have in your kitty. The problem is a lot of people have the similar cards so what can make you separate from them is how you use them. And that's why I a lot of players are started with playing more and more magic cards. Now I am not sure about Splinterlands as a whole but I am talking about the players I encountered during my matches. In those matched I am seeing more and more players have started including the magic cards.
Everyone loves magic cards and if you have some good magic cards then winning is almost there. But the question is are we getting over dependent on the magic cards and thus neglecting some of the other good cards which we have. I also have to change my strategy seeing so many cards, I am started playing with cards which has the ability to nullify the magic wounds.
Now for someone who doesn't know, magic can actually hit the life directly without hitting the Armour and that's makes it a powerful weapon. I am guilty of using it more, because that can actually help me win games to be honest. So now what I am thinking is to have a strategy to dodge the magic attack as well as hit the opponent with magic attack and thus it can become a winning formula.
