Splinterlands is an online collectible card game using the blockchain technology. Every user will need cards to play the game, these cards or assets are NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) which can be traded. These cards is used to play against other players. Now every card will have the unique ability and they are divided between Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The more the ability, the more it can help you to win the games and the more expensive it becomes.

I have not been playing on the Wild Format for a long time and mostly playing in the Modern format. Now I have a lot of cards of the old set like Alpha, Beta and Untamed which is just sitting in my account and doing nothing. So I have two options with me either rent it out all the cards and enjoy the rental income or I can sell all the old cards. If I rent it out then slowly I can buy the new cards slowly and steadily one by one.

If I sell all the cards, then I can buy most of the new cards or the cards which I like the most. Now would it be a good choice to sell the cards or not. Now what if I wanted to play the wild format again then after selling the card I will only have the new card to play with. But again would that a better option, because what if I will play the wild format also with the good new set of cards which is a viable option.

And that's why I am not able to decide yet whether to sell or not. But from the next season I am thinking I will target one season at a time. Next season I will try to rent most of the older cards to see how much I will be able to get by renting those cards. Now if after renting those cards of I am able to generate good rents then I would not be selling any cards. But if the rents are not that great for 1 or 2 seasons then I will try to sell the cards one by one.

Why one by one because then I will be able to see how's the selling going one because then only I will br able to buy the new cards. For me I wanted to buy mostly the epic cards because the legendary is out of the question. Some of the Epic cards are too good for the new sets and that's why I am targeting mostly the Epic cards.

If you would be in my position what you would be doing selling or renting the old card sets if you are not playing the Wild format.
