Whatever happens in this life, don't prank some children, some of their reactions can be epic, and sometimes the prank will come back to hit you like a joke
So I have a neighbor that we are kind of close. She has two lovely kids a boy and a girl. The little girl is very mischievous and stingy.
She is the complete definition of your own is our own and my own is my own.
So we are always at loghead, I love eating in her front just to look for her trouble. I will hold my throat and be asking her, is doing you abi(kind of asking her if she feels like eating).
The little brother is a sweet baby, always smiling and full of life. So because of that, he was my favorite among the kids in my compound
One day, I went to visit a friend in another community, and the little girl said she wanted to follow me. I told her that I would not come back on time and she would be hungry. She refused and held my clothes. So I asked her to go inside and wear fine clothes and fine shoes if she wanted to go out with me. As she ran inside and started telling her cousin to change her clothes. I zoom off like the speed of light, cause I know she has a trust issue because I have pranked her so many times.
Once I told her that as I was waiting for her, some people came and took me away but am here now. Ha!! I didn't know that the baby stored that information on her head.
So because of that, she will always peek if am outside, anytime I ask her to go and put on her shoes, funny girl right?
After leaving her, and taking off, I went on with my day activities, not knowing that a little princess had been crying for me.
It happens that before the end of the day activity, I missed so many calls. It was my neighbors that were calling me, so I was wondering why they were calling. I decided that I would get back to them when being settled
I forgot and finished what I was doing and headed home with biscuits and Bobo juice I bought for the kids. I was looking so stressed, like on my face was written that I had a rough day, which I had.
Some miles away from my house, I met some of my neighbors and street people asking me how I got to escape, and who were the people who kidnapped me. If am okay, did they hurt me?
I was like me missing, how na.
Wetin una dey talk about, they say someone declared me missing in my compound.
I was pissed, I asked if this was a joke or what and they were all serious. I can see the concerns on their faces.
Some people were thanking God that they were fine.
I went home with anger to find out who was playing that kind of sick joke.
My people, you guys won't believe the scene I met on my doorstep, lo! And behold my little mischievous girl was crying seriously.
My aunt is missing oo, they have taken my aunt away.
She was telling her father to carry the guys in my compound to find me, that some brothers drag me away. The father was like Aunt went out, she said no that I was here waiting for her when some guys dragged me and went away. She was crying seriously and telling people to find me. Because how she kept insisting that I was taken away, people started believing her, and she kept pointing in a particular direction that was close to the creek.
Haba, I was dumbfounded I couldn't believe my eyes, it dawned on me that this girl believed that I was dragged away cause that's what I always say
When people noticed my presence, they were like are you fine, who would want to harm you?
Did you offend anybody!, what happened?
The questions kept coming I didn't even know how to tell them that I was not kidnapped or anything.
First, I went to hug the crying girl, I felt guilty for lying to her always. Her face was swollen from crying.
Well, when she stopped crying I told everyone that I wasn't adopted but I just used it to prank her and ran away to work or to go somewhere.
I didn't know that she would use it one day to cry like that.
Everybody started laughing, it was hilarious and strange to me that day.
